Chase Carneson listening "All The Works of Nature Which Adorn The World" with Reacticide 

My mother died of cancer in june of 2020 at the age of 82. For the funeral I needed three songs, one for as people came in the room, a second one to reflect on her life and the third one when people are exiting the room. For the second piece, the reflection, I choose “All The Works Of Nature… The Green”. And it was so beautiful and appropriate, afterwards people were asking what that music was because they didn’t recognize it. The person leading the service was also impressed.

The depth of Tuomas's musical vision is amazing, wonderful and a gift to us all.

For me this is a true musical representation of the beauty and the incredible complexity of nature. This is waaaaay too underrated

Carl Sagan's words are SO powerful. Add Tuomas' musical genius, and you can't help but break.

You have to just admire the guts it takes to say, we are going to do a double album and the second disc will be only this, plus it will cost a ton of money to produce and fiscally makes no sense, but we do not care about that, it is only about the music and that's it.

Oh Chase honey, we can all relate to all these emotions. Goosebumps, tears, you name it. ;)

Tuomas has a good dose of Jean Sibelius influence in his scores... I recommend to explore the symphonies of Mr. Sibelius. Finnish nature and breathtaking melancholic atmospheres... This was a treat!

That was Epic, Trix and thank you too, Chase. I caught most of it live, and vowed I'd go through it again in replay. Had I ever reached the standard on the violin necessary to join an orchestra of that calibre (fat chance - I was never that dedicated), I'd have given a kidney and any other organ I have a spare of to be in on that recording, But yeah, as a violinist, the shimmering followed by pizzicato would be very challenging. I forsee an outbreak of tenonitis if they aren't careful! Great reaction, both of you!

Yay Trinx & Chase! I love this suite so much. "The Green" brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it and pretty much each time since. I confess I hadn't been prepared for it. But being prepared still changed nothing. I remember also seeing a photo released before the album came out, of a computer screen with an image of a multi-track for an unknown song with one of the many tracks being labeled, "whispers" or "whispered voices". I couldn't wait to find out what that was for.

For me it is the space that he leaves in the music...that is where your imagination lives and can take flight! It is the same in the metal Nightwish he leaves spac for instruments and for vocals and for imagination :D Very enjoyable and sorry I missed it on the Reacticide.
