The Pittsburgh Steelers nearly pulled off an epic comeback last night against the Minnesota Vikings, but fell short on their last possession. A lot of people are wondering what would have happened if Chase Claypool and Pittsburgh did not waste time trying to spot the ball on their final drive. When asked about it after the game, Ben Roethlisberger said that talking to Claypool was quote: 'not really my job. That goes up to Coach Tomlin.' diontae is a straight up grinder. recognized that he had a genuine issue last year with his drops so he works super hard all offseason to fix it and now he has (I think) 3 drops through 14 games this season. some of those were ugly drops for sure but ya gotta give him credit for improving like that. claypool on the other hand has only regressed since last year and somehow showed up with an even bigger ego than his rookie season

Mike Tomlin allowing his players to get away with too much has been my biggest criticism of him for years. I'm glad that Shannon Sharpe pointed it out. If a player in New England did what Chase Claypool did, Bill Belichick would've cut him immediately.

I was watching the game just cause it was on Prime video and I saw Claypool draw a penalty, and then go on to miss a block which led to the end of the Steelers drive. There was also him almost fumbling after trying to extend the ball for the first down. After his reaction last season when the Steelers lost to the Browns in the playoffs I knew his personality would cause problems.

100 % correct. Claypool showed some improvement in catching some tough contested passes(which he usually drops) but he didn't show any improvement in 'not being a f'ing idiot'. In fact in that area he's seemed to have regressed. Steelers don't have the Belichek mentality, and that's what their problem is. It's hard to respect Tomlin, because it's disappointing. It's been that way for a while, even when they were winning. Skip n Shannon nailed it. Btw, wr James Washington # 13 is underutilized, and he doesn't clown around. Steelers overall need to focus less on celebrating, and 'having fun', and more on 'getting the job done'.

Not a fan of either team. That’s what’s separated the Patriots vs Steelers. Patriots have always been disciplined during the season and then they go have fun in the off season after you win the 🏆. Steelers are not disciplined. A big problem with the Steelers is the old leaders on that team aren’t there anymore. James Harrison, Casey Hampton, Hines Ward, Troy Polumalu, to police the locker room.

Great points. The example of what a Steelers wide reciever needs to be is Hines Ward. Why Hines is not a Steelers coach is beyond me. The oline and dline have issues all season. No tackling no blocking there are coaching issues. Not finger pointing Tomlin but who remebers when coach stuck his foot in front of runner on side line.

The hate for Kirk is always real on this show. lol. Dude has the best TD to INT ratio in the league. Top 10 in the league in yards and touchdowns. Has more TDs, less INTs, better accuracy percentage, and more yards than Aaron Rodgers.

It's like they totally ignore or minimize when he plays well, then when he has a mistake EVERY QB HAS in a game they're all over him. I still have no explanation for the media's problem with the dude. Seems to be a media directive because ALL the shows do the same lame brain analysis.

The media took a dislike to it Particularly ESPN who has made it a point to come up with any negative stat they can find on Kirk and expand on it. Truthfully it's quite pathetic in the way they have conducted themselves in regards to Cousins..
