Watch Chase Magnano's two episode run on Who Wants to be a Millionaire Whiz Kids Week to win $50,000 dollars. A portion of that money was utilized to co-found JaxTHRIVE, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.
Honestly, you don’t necessarily have to be extremely intelligent for this game. You just need to be well-informed and on top of things and hope you remember something you’ve glimpsed at about 3 years ago. I’m not saying that the people on here aren’t impressive. He literally made himself a BestBuy geek by watching videos. Just you don’t need to be Einstein to win a million dollars!
These are the kids questions, a lot of them you can answer by a process rather than having to outright know the answers. That is why you think what you typed. The adult version of this game does not have these kind of questions where you can work it out step by step.
Chase did go back and correct himself on the country question and got it correct. However, the producers edited this section of the show out since he went through all of the countries once again and it may have gotten too long.
Chase: Algeria and Armenia in Europe. I'll go with Europe. Host: You did it again! Andorra, Austria Albania! The countries in Europe that start with A and end with A!
This is what happens when you have these kids who have amazing brain capacity for learning and memorisation, but they learn in a somewhat unnatural way, by just looking at textbooks mainly and therefore their knowledge is somewhat abstract. No one who's actually travelled around and learnt the countries in a more natural way would think Algeria is European
from the uk. the only question that i got wrong was the president one but my guess was the last one he eliminated. i got the trek question right because nuck dakk with the growling bits was how i guessed it >.> avatar lol . the hooved feet i got from ungulates - whi chi took to mean as another way of saying undulates which is moving stuff i knew it wasnt stomachs or ears lol
Yeah, Algeria is North Africa, Armenia is in the Caucasus, north of Turkey and is in Asia. European countries are Austria, Albania and Andorra. Another African country would've been Angola.
@1000 Subscribers Without Any Video Challenge - Turkey is the bridge between Europe and the Middle East/Asia. Some people barely consider Turkey as part of Europe, so Armenia is DEFINITELY not part of Europe.
He even went on to deduct that Na'vi wouldn't have bathrooms in the primitive jungle area, and still picked it. I've watched enough startrek to know what klingon sounds like. Had he just stuck to his deduction he would've gone further.
Why was he not grabbed by movie producers. He looks WAY WAY WAY WAY better than any past present actors in all the languages and in all the countries in the world ..yes his BRAINS and his pleasant manerrisms match his handsome appearance.
Watching this in April 2020 & loving it. It’s just a great way to pass the time during this “shelter in place, stay at home” quarantine time, due to the Coronavirus. Stay safe everyone... 🙏
This kid seems to be of above average intelligence. They give the easiest questions on kids week, usually aimed at 8th graders, this kid is answering questions well below his age level.
Chase Manano sure has good memory of remembering things. He was so close to get a million dollar question. If he can get without a lifeline, that would be even better.
This guy was awesome. Clearly in most games i have watched the audience are not "who wants to be a millionaire" smart and DO NOT know the answers. Never trust the audience.
The question he got wrong, if you know what Klingon sounds like, combined with a little bit of an elimination process, it's fairly straightforward; it definitely wasn't Elvish because that's far more elegant sounding with fewer harsh edges, Ewokese has more flow than Klingon and different types of consonant sounds, and I didn't know what Na'vi sounded like because I haven't seen Avatar, however I know roughly what Klingon sounds like, it has a lot of "aq" kinda sounds that make it seem like you have phlegm in the back of the throat.
They are smart kids, they don't have time for all these movies. We watched them. If they are to questions on entertainment, surely they won't pass 3rd questions.
Shrubtonwon it doesn’t mean that. But instead of sitting down and watching a movie, he prefers to fix his broken phone. So I doubt watching a movie is one of their main priorities
What a valuable lesson this brilliant young man was taught that no book can...people don’t give a fuck about you, and you can’t trust people like that...don’t answer if you don’t know...god damnnn
I feel bad for him. He looked so nervous I am sure he could do better if he relaxed and stopped taking others into account. At some point I wasn't even sure its the game making him nervous 😅
It makes no sense to ever ask the audience a question over the 3rd or 4th level. Everyone just HAS to answer, even when they are just guessing. Then, when the consensus is wrong, not ONE of them would admit to giving the wrong answer. I saw a contestant leave that lifeline unused all the way and it was smart.
Not always. There's a Whiz Kids episode with a boy named Yash Kadadi where he had narrowed it down to two possibilities and the 50/50 took one of them away.
He was right when.he said that it is primitive kindnof lifestyle in avatar..so he could have thought that there is no way that an avatar would ever look for a bathroom. lol
The kid is so smart he is thinking of tennessine as a ''high up there'' element on the periodic table instead of rationing out that oak ridge is a city in tennesse. lol
