Very nice shots of a couple of very nice looking old locos of a railroad I did not know exists.

Nice to see our little shortline surprised you with thier speed. I live near Mc Coll and chase them quite often. In my experience, they run up and down the whole line virtually every day. Sadly, in 2022, we lost the Mohawk plant, so Domtar may be the only shipping customer online, though freight car storage seems to be helping thier bottom line. I've got a vid of PDRR as well if anyone's interested.

Very nice video work. Always good to see coverage of the Pee Dee River Railway's GP-16's. These four motors are Tampa rebuilds that Seaboard System did back in the 1980's from their GP-7's. Except from chopping the high hoods, these motors do look and preform rather well. From a retired locomotive engineer, thanks for posting this.

That's a thing with traffic coming from the class 1s, you've always got cars more cars coming and going than you see trackside, psr kills traffic levels day to day. One day you'll have 2 at the interchange, the next 200.
