@@tillmusshoff How many languages have you learned from it ? Of course the answer is zero - so you're hardly qualified. As someone who teaches Spanish/English/French/German/Italian and more - I can tell you that it's not. Is it 'a way' ? Sure. Is it a good way ? No.

I‘ve been using it a lot for learning spanish among many other tools like LingQ and watching simple shows in spanish with spanish subtitles and I enjoy it and it helps me progress. As a teacher you should be able to recognize its potential. I‘m curious about your suggestions though, how you would approach learning a language (without the accessibility of a personal teacher - lets keep your incentives out of the equation). I‘ve been doing research on this and would be happy to get more input if you like to share it.

@@witness1013 Honestly, this ad hominem approach of rebut is sad to see from a teacher of all people; don't be so closed minded not to appreciate the genuine value of this resource, and seeing as you are a (supposed) polyglot of Spanish/English/French/German/Italian and lots more then this further surprises me as to you lack of application of useful learning resources.
