💜 Hi Alana ... you are correct. The written is the same, it is the visual that's different. Terry from Yarn Joy is left-handed and I've heard her say that she mirrors the right- handed videos to be able to do the pattern. So you're not left-handed, don't worry about it. 😊 💜
I’m not left handed but, I would guess that unless it’s a filet crochet graph, the written pattern would be the same. In a graph, we right handers go from left to right and the left handers go from right to left.
I believe the left and right-handed patterns are the same. I do think watching a tutorial for right-handed people would confuse a left-handed person. Terry from Yarnjoy podcast is left-handed and makes tutorials for both. She films it left-handed, and then flips the video to make a right-handed version as well. I dont think it would be hard to issue a right- and left-handed version.
For Tunisian N Knitting it's different. You don't have any Knitting Nor Tunisian items I didn't see any. You only do Tutorials on Crochet items. I hope this helps N puts your mind at ease,I've looked around N seen ppl do right N left Crocheting.. 🖐🏻 Howdy... lefty here. Sooo, trick question. Written only No it doesn't necessarily matter IF it is symmetrical. If its not a symmetrical item for example if crocheting an amigurumi of a witch with a wort... mine would end up on the opposite side of her nose than your, but thats petty and easily correctable. Now, its its a visual tutorial you are making for us MOST lefties have been lefties their whole lives and our brains have been fine tuned to work in mirrored fashions. In my OWN opinion as a lefty living in a right handed world: it is incredibly RUDE for someone to give you any negativity over something not natural for you, and expect you to accommodate them. I believe some right handed tutorial creators "flip" their videos to make it left handed. Tutorials are a gift to your viewers, its a lot of work, you can't please everyone. It falls into the category of not in your skill level if your unable to make any particular tutorial work... find another video, RU-vid is full if incredible content creators both right and left. Dont let them rain on your parade dear friend. You've created a wonderful channel full of quality content. I will now step off my soap box and sit in the back of the room lol
