I use soft brush for varnish and got those bubbles too sometimes but varnish still dry flat☺️. Like the video just do vids that feels good for you☺️ you doing amazing🥰

Ok it’s reassuring to know that it happens to other people as well! I had never seen these bubbles in all of my research so I thought it was super weird. And thanks for the words of encouragement! I appreciate it 🥰

Baumgartner restoration has a technique for a glossy satin finish. He uses a brush and brushes the varnish when it's drying. It's hard to explain, it's a nice finish tho. Maybe rolling the foam roller really slow could work? I've only used spray varnish for my paintings.

Oh I love Baumgartner’s videos, they’re so satisfying! I’ll try to find an example of his technique. I think slow won’t work because I don’t think it’s going to spread the varnish quickly enough… and in all the videos that I’ve seen, people go quite fast! It’s tricky!!
