I love this series, the colours are so rich and vibrant, and with the paler colours in the background, I felt as though I were drawn into the paintings - I love when that happens! I look forward to hearing all about your upcoming trip. Snow scenes sound lovely. I am Scottish, and despite dealing with snow on a day to day basis, I still find our snowy landscape so peacefully beautiful. 🎨👩🏻‍🎨🖌️❤️

First I loved the paintings, I can see why you made the changes now, as the series has a cohesiveness to it. Such a lush set of landscapes. So glad you finally found your white gouache…a must have. Cute bag & clothes. And the muffins & cake looked nom-nom-nommy 😊. Oh, and bora bora, where we honeymooned, is said to have 22 colors of blue water😮. [I didn’t count, but it was beyond beautiful]. Thank you for the beautiful comment! I’m very happy about my decision to change my first paintings. I can’t wait to frame everything! Also really looking forward to testing out my gouaches. Bora bora must be so pretty! I went to Curaçao for a week last year and it was amazing so if Bora Bora looks a little bit like it, it must have been an amazing trip 💕

Beautiful collection, love all the vibrant autumn colours 🍂 I find nuit blanche in Toronto disappointing too, I’ve only gone a couple of times and then gave up, also cold, here it’s in October, crowded and long commutes between all the exhibits. I wonder why they don’t host them in late summer or spring when it’s not cold at night and people could really enjoy the entire night. Hope you have another beautiful trip, can’t wait to see the winter landscapes🩵

I didn’t know they had a nuit blanche in Toronto! I personally don’t mind it being during the winter as we have so many festivals during the summer. It makes the winter more exciting! But I think there’s so many people attending, it’s hard to enjoy...

I found that WN zink white is quite opaque but for highlights it doesn't work that good

I read it’s less opaque than permanent white so it wasn’t recommended for highlights! Apparently it’s better for mixes. I still have to test them though!

@@LaurenceP-art for mixes it works great. There's a wideo from Sarah Burns where she compares mixes made with both zink and permanent white.
