On a day celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Detroit Pistons 2004 championship team, Chauncey Billups, the Finals MVP, had a chance to thank the fans for all their support.
I will never forget how Ben was clowning Shaq. He was standing behind Shaq with his hands behind his back and Shaq was just looking LEFT AND RIGHT! LEFT AND RIGHT! LIKE - "WHERE IS HE?!!!!" HE WAS SWEATING BULLETS!!!
The most underappreciated team in history to think this team nearly did something the east couldn't do and that's go back to back against the teams that won the previous five titles in a row (spurs and lakers)
Darvin ham was one of my favorite pistons.I liked his dunks with aggression.i always thought the backboard was breaking..But the 04 tea. My favorite team ever
I pulled for them to beat the Lakers so bad! It was hard to believe they delayed swept them. Packed Shaquille O'Neal face elbowing behind up and shipped him out of L.A.! Peace to these brothers: they played as a REAL team.
20 years? Damn I was five years old and just started watching the NBA because of Melo and I’m still pissed that they didn’t pick him up although I’m just a Raptors fan
My sister worked security for this game she was literally right outside the vio box they were like she said she probably could have reached her hand out and touched Ben 😂
Yeah he was, 10-14-2-2-2 for thee entire playoffs at 6'9, the man literally stacked on the biggest load ever defensively having to play Shaq! Billups for the playoffs 16-3-6, wasn't locking up Kobe
Most underrated PG. Should be All Time Top 10 PG. Almost got 3 champs during Det era. Helped most winless players carmelo and iverson reach deep into playoffs
What a team. Set all records for their defensive display & took down the overhyped superstar Lakers in practically a 5 game sweep. Only one period short from making it Back to Back Championships against the powerful Spurs. This 2004 team deserves to be up there, with the greatest championship teams of all-time
Tamba Kongoh supports his Father's brother Richard Hamilton Effective Act of scoring the basketball during 2004 NBA Finals whexh lead them to their desire an NBA Champion.
Not a Detroit piston fan but back in 2004 when I was 15 I hated the lakers with a passion. They had so many d riders and fan weather fans even still to this day. I had just entered high school and watched them dominate my whole middle school tenture so I had to hear it everyday from kids walking around. …but man when Detroit swept them in 04 it was like a beacon of light inside a dark tunnel it felt so good. Rip Kobe but it felt so good to see him cry also and have a loss on his finals record so he couldn’t be compared to mj. Thank u Detroit 😊
@@Nute202 he was MVP he did more than pass.. he did everything.. that's y his team won.. all Kobe could try to do is score.. couldn't get his team involved..he showed his true colors.. hes a one dimensional player.. like his mom Jordan
