I was surprised you guys answered me and you answered me pretty quick I have one more question looks like you're pushing the quick coupler heater hoses back onto the heater core can I avoid this that stop if you're cutting the hoses in the cab I also have the diesel pipe that you were talking about
@@light784brick9 not sure on what diesel pipe your referring to. I would honestly have to go back and look at what we did again. From what I remember we used the heater hose splice to avoid removing the entire hvac box.
When you cut the heater core piping with the saws-all, do you worry about aluminum shaving getting into the coolant and clogging the oil cooler? I am thinking of a 6.0. Does the 6.4 have an oil cooler like a 6.0?
No we didn’t because we don’t plan on that fluid staying in long at all due to the oil that was in the system. We figured we would flush it again, install the coolant filtration and then ad more clean antifreeze and the anti cavitation additive then. Good point though.
Hey my brother I just did the same thing on a Ford 350 but I done that vaporator core and I took the dash out and Iput it all back in and now the alarm system has me locked out do you know how to get around that how to fix it
I have an 08 f250 6.4L XLT RWD with the egr and dpf deleted with 140k miles. Been thinkin about selling it for around 15k here in Texas. Y’all could get more than that with only 100k miles onit
Chris Martin I spoke wrong in the first video it has 161k not 135k I was going on what the seller had told us at the time of that video. But 16k would be a good ball park it it a good running loaded truck
Damn!! That small critter that died and stink'n up my 2008 will just have to stay in that plenum/box. 😖🤢🤮. No wonder my local Ford shop estimates $2000 to do what you guys did.
Gotta disagree with ya on that, the 6.4s were a different story cause international built a throw away motor. That’s why for parted ways with international. Not a fan of the heater core in the 6.4s either but other than that it’s a great truck and I like Fords procuct but to each their own. Thanks for watching.
