Nice to meet you. I am always happy to see you from Japan. I would like to know the details of the black handlebar you are wearing. If there is a site that sells that handlebar, please let me know.
Lot of hype about engine bars that's overblown, there are just mild tuberler steel, long as welds are good and bolts are good quality, powered coated your fine, buying in China your cutting out importers and distributors mark up, hence them being less than half the price.
Seems like a gamble to me, some brands do test their products and spend for R&D. Don't get me wrong there's probably a chunky mark up for branded ones but I rather pay the premium for something that should've had some level of testing rather than taking a risk with a poorly designed copy/untested item.
@@bikersquest you both make really good points. I suppose it comes down to your circumstance. Personally I wanted to save money, and protect my bike from some very light off roading low sides. If I were to drop it at a low speed, I'd much rather scrap up some cheap metal than the premium alternative.
@@bikersquest what testing is required for mild tuberler steel, that's been welded correctly, you could buy a German made bars, that the labour is billed at 90 euros an hour plus manufacturering cost plus wholesaler and dealer mark up and you would be paying €400 euros for a product with €15 euros raw materials cost. Not sure I would buy a wheel from China though, then I would want R&D for piece of mind.
@@checker3694 Watch "Fake products from China" video from Bennetts Bike channel yea it may be a bit biased but they cut corners, somtimes use aluminum where plastic is used for a specific reason, poor bolt aligment etc etc. Not saying you will find some good cheap bars but you don't actually know what your're getting as there's no reputation behind the manufacturer.
