I've got one of those. Not exactly these. But a cheap $40 homage. I use it when i don't want use my more expensive units. It's been two years and still keeps the time. I don't mind being rough with it. For the money its actually very impressive.
Exactly what were you expecting for $20? Did you think they would be anywhere near as good as watches that cost 100 times more? For that price, it is impressive that they can keep time at all. Everything is relative. You say "you wasted $20 for a cheap watch".... and other people could say "you wasted $2,000 on tacky tattoos."

I tried a couple of homage watches from china. The Matic (movement feels like sand in it) looks like the omega 300 Seamaster. I bought it because I was not sure if i could accept a helium valve and skeleton hands. So i feel like i wont be buying the omega as i never warmed to the homage watch. The other one was a pagani daytona and that one is pretty good. Both i will use as beaters until they die.
That’s the beauty of cheap homage watches. You can buy one to see if you like it, and then maybe save up an buy the real deal. That’s what I’ve been using homages for. Thanks for watching 🙏
Funny he tests everything but what really matters in a cheap watch- does it keep good time-???!! If it cost twenty bucks and keeps good time you got your moneys worth, what did you expect for twenty bucks??!! You dont get Rolex build quality at Casio prices - a watch snob comparing apples to watermelons.

You paid for turds and you got turds. I think the sweet spot for Chinese watches is the $60-280 range. There are a few Chinese brands that can even give you a decent bracelet, but in most cases you're better off with an aftermarket bracelet or an FKM strap. Anyway, thanks for the laughs. 👍

Put a Sw200 in a San Martin and you have a decent watch for 300 bucks Seiko give you shit 300 , Orient are decent but you need to buy an 80 dollar strap. I go for Bulova reissues, their Jet Star is mega
There's a lot of good ali watches, Addie'sdive is very cheap but good designs, mainly homage but some actual original ones aswell, i like their sand dunes dial designs. Edit they are around £35 though, their homages are around £20
