@Init Yeah that's me every single time I try to pull that lever. Little tip, use the slayer cape to tele to Mandrith and he's really close to the mage bank so no need to hit the lever
Is Sirenic that much better than Pernix? I've always been put off because of it degrading, and every time I've looked into how much of a benefit it is, it's always look negligible
@Chobi sirenic still degrades even when augmented. But it can be repaired using another set (chest/legs). It's so cheap that its negligible. I have used my Sirenic for so long made multiple 100s of mils with it and it's still at like 40% lol. Definitely worth it. Also, can throw an attack cape on anachronia stand or in max cape and it will make it last even longer.
PSA: Just buy the undyed pouches and dye them yourself. Most dyes are dirt cheap. If you want non-primary colors, mix primaries together. Example: red+yellow=orange (no shit). As a runecrafter, I learned the hard way that nobody is buying colored pouches anyways. (I thought I could make a quick buck)
You can un-dye them with a cleaning cloth to undo the mistake. People just dye them themselves for organizing as it's easy and cheap (except black dye can't be bought)
5:25 It’s important to note that the price of dyed pouches is usually wildly inaccurate since they’re sold very rarely. People who use pouchmaking as a runecrafting training method usually don’t bother dying them.
You can now also teleport directly to fort Forinthry using the slayer cape with the latest update since the raptor is a slayer master :) get that slayer cape ! It’s worth it
I perked my Pernix Armor back when Sorenic was still expensive and kind of regret it, so I still use it. I know gizmo separators are a thing, but they are also expensive to make. Also the dungeoneering cape can be worn WHILE dungeoneering and it gives you stats that in a slot that is normally empty, so pretty good.
if you bought sirenic, just disassemble your Pernix, the money will come back and the upgrade is huge. + if its above level 8 i believe you get the installed gizmo's back when you d/a it anyways
Pro tip - when you unlock the support skill shard cape (99 in all support skills), put both dg and slayer capes into it and you have all the teleports in one Cape. Its my go to skilling Cape.
@MoonBeef I don't believe so. You can only put capes from same type in a greater tier. For instance the combatant cape can only include 2 of the combat types personally I used Range and Attack.
Hope everyone noticed that a clan member of [The Inits] got 200m defence "Kaolin", gratz btw , and Init yeah clearly left a gap in the descriptions just big enough for that to sneak though. Bet that was just by chance! 3:33
Fun fact i got cinderbanes way before they got buffed thinking it had huge dps potential (the only time ive ever done anything semi smart). When they got buffed, i find out my little brother took em from my account then he lost access to his account 💀
You do not have to equip the rune pouch for the 25% save chance to occur and the runes do not need to be in the pouch to have a 25% chance not to use them. The pouch can be in your inventory and you can have extra runes in your inventory. I just tested this on legacy mode Edit: I had a staff of darkness equipped on accident. You do need to equip 1 grasping pouch and then all runes on you get the benefit during combat.
''The grasping pouch can hold 4 types of runes (up to 16,000 of each), and has a 25% chance to not consume all runes used on a combat spell. This effect requires the pouch to be equipped but will save runes that aren't stored in the pouch.'' - Wiki So we were both 50% right XD Have to have ONE pouch equipped for the effect, once one is equipped all pouches and runes in inventory will get the effect :) But still need 1 equipped it seems.
@@InitYeah woops I had a staff of darkness equipped. I forgot I had that staff and it's ability to save runes. I haven't used it in years. So you do need to equip 1 grasping pouch and then any other runes you have on you get the benefit.
It's not that big of a deal but it's worth mentioning that if you make a divine-o-matic (which you can pot up to make one), it's almost 4 times cheaper then buying divine charges if you buy them instead of making them...Honestly though it's better to just grab ancestral energies but still an option. And the guthix/zammy staff debuffs CAN stack, of course the extra staff takes up an invy space but still...Can also fish both types of jellies from deep sea hub at the fishing guild if you don't wanna spend the 4k each on blues
oh my... why i was not using zamorak staff while learning HM kerapac or Zuk... xD i only was using guthix eof after it's release for rax, damn it would helped me a lot...
Personally I have both sirenic and pernix. Pernix is perked perfectly for rots, ed2, raksha (using Sirenic doesn't impact kill times much, usually 7 seconds slower and for whatever reason using resonance with pernix on never fails me compared to res'ing in Sirenic) , and full pernix prevents Nex going melee distance of you ever. (No I don't kite the boss like all those sweaty people do, revolution my basics like a noob) and Sirenic everywhere else
I just thought of an upgrade to the Saradomin staff that would keep the spirit of the item in tact. Make it so that against enemies with an adrenaline bar it depletes the adrenaline bar. So trash mobs that use abilities would spec less often. It'd still be absolute trash but I can't think of anything else that would still be in the spirit of the prayer draining ability while working on NPCs.
What about stealing or Absorbing the adren instead? That might be useful in niche situations where your enemy has an adren bar and you steal it from them
Nightmare guantlets and their improved version, I believe, are the best ranged power gloves. Otherwise it's the Celestial Handwraps/Ascension Grips (can't remember which is ranged v magic) for gloves. I use Fleeting boots (and the other style equivalents) even if they aren't the best bonuses, the effect is nice.
I have one big issue.. the perks.. they are way too expensive to get them again thats why im still using pernix stead of sirenic (waiting to get 115 inv)
@@Brasuasd do you have the herb level for an extreme invention pot? If so, it boosts inv level by 17 for 5mins. Soo you only need to get to lvl 98 to use a separator... unless they have some weird stipulation where you can't use it while boosted.
Surprising you didn't mention the defence cape when talking about skill capes. Less for those who have access to it, although I know not everyone is aware of all the skillcape perks they have access to (me included), but to highlight it as a goal for those who don't yet have access to it.
