Always cracks me up how the most expensive places give you the least amount of food. Lol that wasn't soup that was essentially the sauce amount on the 1st steak 🤣
"Some days they are good, some days they are not" Is probably the most disappointed I've seen DancingBacons be towards anything. Even the pineapple juice "Reminds me of the one I have in a can" Is such a roast towards the restaurant. Amazing, I love it!
Becoming a total snooze fest. Real conversation about the food would be nice. Squinting your eyes with a goofy smile while your stuffing you face has become boring.
The first dish is actually a thing where I live. But it is not served at your any typical restaurant. It is actually served at a Chinese food court. At a cost of around $20, you get two large steaks, french fries with a generous amount of gravy, and a couple of veggies. Is it worth it? Definitely! The person who made that dish definitely knows what he is doing!
Yeah, I was like “where’s the rest of it?” It’s like they give you a huge bowl and only fill the very bottom. How come the more expensive a restaurant is the smaller the portions there are? 😂
@@juicywater7868 Well even if I became rich, quantity of the food will still matter to me. What they served was hardly had 3-4 tspn of liquid in it. I would say "liquid" because soups are served in bowls and that too in a good quantity 😂
@@FatalKitsune The amount is pretty disappointing but often the foods are very rich! Makes you pretty full! That's just my experience though, I was pretty surprised when I found out.
I appreciate your review of all options….sometimes it’s not just the price but what your in the mood for as to upscale or dress down relaxed atmosphere….The Wolfgang Puks meal would be lovely for a special occasion….thanks for sharing! Love your vids. 😊
Those prices are insane. I can go to a premium steakhouse here in Houston (Taste of Texas) and get almost 5 of their 24 once roasted prime ribs for what they got charged for those small steak dinners.
My guess is your paying for the service, preparation, and quality of the food. I get it: it’s great service and the presentation looks quite good but I’d do it maybe once or twice just to say I did it.
If that was for the whole dinner, they did get a lot of courses; bread, soup, appetizer, 2 steaks w/ 2 sides each and 2 desserts. That sounds about right for an upscale meal in the USA.
@@steverogers7601 I went to a Brazilian restaurant that the waiters bring meat to your table chicken, beef, sausage, etc plus we had salad bar and dessert....oh and drinks the average is $65 per person and their was 6 of us.
Yet another awesome video story! I always look forward to your culinary excursions. I’ve never followed Facebook or RU-vid as much until I had the pleasure of following DancingBacons!!! ❤️
Shander's meal at the mid-price restaurant looked SO good and that expensive Wagyu made me absolutely drool!! I can only imagine how buttery and delicious it must've tasted!
Lol I always think the same watching their dining out videos. I feel like I need to jump myself through hoops and triple check the budget before I can spend 20$ on a meal, even 300$+ would probably give me a heart attack! 🤣
I actually love how Dancing Bacon's videos doesn't have preview in first second of their videos. I'm not really fond of previews like I don't want spoilers, just surprise me lol.
Understandably, the last restaurant you went to looked amazing! It’s definitely the kind of place for a special occasion. The other two restaurants looked really good, too. And that coffee is something I would love!
Great vid. High quality steaks cut like butter - you don't have to saw at them! Expensive does not equal high quality. Great vid!!!!!!!! Mrs. Bacon is sooooo adorable!!! Happy New Year!!!
Another great video. I rather have a steak from the first place and maybe the second. I don't think I would go to a famous person's restaurant for a steak. Expensive doesn't always mean the best.
The first steak seems the best because it's such a laid back and chill environment. Could absolutely see myself and a few (non-existent) friends heading there and grabbing a bite and just hanging out
Gosh i love your vids ♡ ive watched them all All Those steaks all look really really good ♡ I hope you two had fun♡♡ Also that cream spinach looks amazing mmm♡♡ Honestly tho i wanna try em alll
The last time I had steak was in a place called Granville in France. It was really nice,it came in a pepper sauce with chips (fries) and salad. The steaks from this video all looked really good but I would've chosen the first steak that one looked like one I would go for if I was going out for a steak meal. Good video DB!
For steaks we have a say in Toscana. Under four fingers (you put you finger together horizontally but the thumb) is carpaccio (a thin cut of meat that is marinated and not cooked. Don't know how it translate) so only the medium priced one had a chance to be steak in an Italian point of view. They do look delicious 🤤
theres a kinda cheap western place at bukit batok east ave 4 blk 265 call JWS Grille Factory. They are relatively cheap as compared to common restaurant(like aston/swensen) but still serve similar quality food. the rest of the stores there also have pretty great food as well. if you are looking for cheap yet still great food, thats a good place to go.
Why was "It is a big baby!" so funny to me? 😂 Did I go "awww" out loud at the slice of Wagyu being transferred to DB's plate? You heard nothing. The food at Cut all looks delicious, but I can't get over the tiiiiiiiny portions.
