So the amps.are off? I know a 3/32 should run around 90 amps with a 7018. You had it set at 115 which is close to what a 1/8 rod would run. So my question is do you really think it will even come close to 200 amps?
E6010 electrodes need a higher OCV than E7018 in order to burn correctly, usually about 80v. I was wondering if you could test the welder with 1/8" E6010 and report back the results, like if the arc keeps going out?
@Weaver Cattle Company inverters have high frequêncy transformers (ferrite core) but most dont have the iron powder choke on the output. I actualy adapted one in my inverter and it works fine
Weaver Cattle Company thanks mate! Just wanted to know if it can really weld aluminum because I don’t see an specs where Welding aluminum is concerned when reading up on it on eBay.
@Weaver Cattle Company l bought Chinese firepower inverter welder. The seller claim it put out 275 amp DC I use DC meter it show 120 amp with the setting at max output return it week later bought a Lincoln pro 155 s inverter. You actually measure the max output?
You are pretty negative and I don't know why, your machine is doing what it supposed to do and yes it is not a 500 dollar plus tool but skip the skepticism.
