Old Clifford the big red truck was feeling left out so we had to make a video about him. Got keep him happy otherwise we might be broke down! Expect a couple more videos this week.
Pretty sweet setup u got their man be awesome if the bed was color matched in a bedliner I live in maine and some of us mainers put bedliner on the bottom of the cab inner fenders and under the bed to make them last longer
Man I love your videos I’m a truck driver and every time I stop I watch them. I’m 30 and it blows my mind how knowledgeable you are. How did you learn so much at such a young age!?
Michael Durden fuel fill is behind the cab not in the back . The tank on dodges is right behind the cab that bed was probably Not for a dodge or a pickup truck
The Outsider on the 5500s the fuel fill is on the back as thats where the tank is and the def fill is behind the cab so maybe the bed was for a 4500 or 5500 cab/chassis
My second gen is missing the gas door but I got it with a fass lift pump, brand new injection pump, already had exhaust work done lifted and i believe it has some big mofo injectors cus it is a smokey biotch
It looks awesome but I think since you got a service body and you typically workin on and sometimes off road some more aggressive tires and maybe a 2 and a half inch coil spacer for the front and you’ll definitely make it look pretty cool. And probably time for some new shocks all around. I recommend Rough Country
I’ve always hated the look of service beds, but I’ll be damned if they aren’t useful. I helped my boss build some drawers into his front box and after wrapping all his tools in Saran Wrap and some light oil, sprayed a high density foam rubber seal into the drawer to hold all the tools in place. It was totally worth it even though it took a while to clean up.
This is such a helpful video! I'm not old enough to drive yet, but when I can I really want a Ram with a Cummins engine in it but they are so expensive. Thanks for the info about how you got one for a low price! Also, your setup is awesome! looks like you have almost everything you need to fix any issues you have on the road.
Bro your truck bed is like goals lol the only thing you need now is a engine hoist lmao you never know when your gonna pull an engine on the side of the road
Ive gotten so many neglected cars over the years. You can totally tell when they start to run better when you start doing the maintenance it needed all along.
should probably mount the first aid kit in a good area, like behind the driver's seat. Not going to want to be digging for it when you need it, and it's a lot easier to tell someone where to look for it when you cannot get to it.
Instead of Clifford The Big Red Truck, Clifford The Big Red DODGE 🤔🤔🤔. I heard you call it that yesterday and laughed like hell. Reason being is one of my boys used to watch that show religiously. Really enjoy your stuff Westin. Greetings from a Cummins guy in Southeast North Carolina. Keep on rolling man.
New sub.... Interested in what you do with the trucks.....and I like the humor also.....I have a 2010 lifted Ford f250 4 x4 gas truck w/ 72k on it....got a good deal at the dealership......keep the vids coming....thx.....
Thats a nice truck for what you paid and got lucky with the motor. The way my luck goes I'd of paid $20.000 for a good running truck and the motor would of probably puked driving across to Orielys to buy an air freshener for the trip home L.O.L It's interesting watching you buy and fix these trucks up I used to do the same with farm tractors. The parts prices here in Canada got crazy paying for the other guys fancy house / lake side cottage holidays and fancy toys with little reward, for me financing it and doing all the hard work to sell it and deal with idiots. I still fix our machines and might buy a good deal for our own fleet to fix for the long term. I fix a few local guys machines, they buy the parts on their accounts and pay me by the hour. That brings in more than me trying to make money selling stuff. Thanks for the video's take care
I have the same exact bed on an 08 Cummins at work, those things are fantastic, just have to make sure you’ve got a set of gloves handy if you wanna open the boxes up in the summer, quick way to burn your hand!
What part of thw country are you at?! You seem to be in a densely populated truck market. That longbed too for 1k. I'm jealous, are you traveling for auctions?
Dude ur just awesome n great sence of humor. Keep them vids coming. N wouldn't hurt to show the camera guy n receive credit! Can u do a shout out too! To felix n fanny my wife started watching u too. :)
Looks good brother good running truck near me what's good way to go brother the very back of the truck you can make this sliding out for more tools and stuff too
Hay like your truck video Idea for you run some power recpitcal in some of your boxes so you can charge impact and drill battery wile you drive And if you doo a lot of jump starting run a hook up to the front end and back
Tip: I pull the magnets out of old computer hard drives (disc) people get rid of or recycle. Theses magnets are fantastic and usually free. I use them to hold up lights, tools, etc in my toolbox. Aslo keeps small parts from sliding around in the trays. Easy to hard mount inside your toolbox door to have small quick grab items like a leathermen or something like that. If it’s non magnetic just glue a magnet to your favorite go to item. Just keep in mind they will scratch paint and sometimes require a flat head to remove. Lastly be careful around magnetic sensitive items and don’t get your finger pinched when placing them on steel.
Love ur vids. I’m 17 and just bought my first truck a 2003 Ram 2500 Hemi. I absolutely love that thing although someday I’m gonna upgrade to a newer Cummins
my this my that my other thing my truck my video my toolbox my sky my air my earth my place my foot is standing my eyes see my things just in case you didnt know this is also all mine because my money bought my things for my video on my day.
Nice truck for a Ram ! Lol seriously I would put a air chisel with bits an air rachet 3/8 drive and do think you have enough air hose ? Lol . I keep a grease gun in mine and a inner tube just in case along with tire plugs and valve stems . Other then that your good to go !
i have been looking for a cm "tm" model bed for awhile.....would be nice to have a truck set up like this one. sure would make it easier to go pick up broke trucks!
