@1 Hitter you would have to start with getting them imported, taxes, epa approval, and all the red tape. there are a lot of great products around the world that are not sold in the usa because of all the hoops they would have to jump through to start legally importing and it ends up not worth all the red tape, legal shit, money that the government wants before you would be aloud to sell. there are a lot of nice motorcycles, dirt bikes, diesel suv/trucks, guns, aftermarket parts, etc that is not sold in the usa because of all this red tape and money. but yea, i would buy one for sure!

The Sherp has made the trip across the ocean to be sold in North America. It's my belief these vehicles should be allowed the same. I'm confused that this government (democrats) continue to call Russia "the enemy", yet allow American companies to prosper and sell products in Russia, but refuse imports from Russia. Chevrolet, Polaris, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Monster Energy drinks, McDonald's, Subway, hand and power tool manufacturers, heavy equipment manufacturers and many others are allowed to sell in Russia. But as far as I know, there aren't many Russian made goods being sold at all in the US. That bridge needs to be established and maintained. Good working relationships. I understand you saying that it's cheaper to build it myself, as shipping costs may surpass the actual cost of building. But, as a manufacturer and dealer, mass production cuts costs. Thank you for your honest response.

+Christopher Sturm thanx a lot for your feedback! You are right the steering is unusual and one needs to get used to it. As to the sispension its enough wheels cause the maximum speed is only 30 kmh

That type of steering is called articulated. It's found on front loaders, log skidders and rock trucks. Only takes a moment to get the hang of steering it. To make something like this from salvaged parts, the front axle has to be mounted upside down. So the wheels all turn the same direction. Been planning to make something similar. Better. Hopefully.

From the look of it- a set of rear axles, a single (heavy duty) steering knuckle, a small 15hp (or so) engine, a small car's manual transmission, and then mostly one-off driveshafts, bearing blocks, chain drive, and belt drive mechanism with a manual tensioning arm to act like a clutch. Probably not too hard of a build if you have the shop, tools, and time (+some extra $ lying around). Then add some ridiculously large ATV tires, or just do what our Russian friends have done a shave a set of truck tires down. I like the design, it's pretty simple in parts yet very capable in that type of terrain. The steering system seems to tie the whole design together, and may be a slight weakness, as the turning radius seems (to me) to be a bit wide, so don't expect to turn on a dime. Knowing this, you would have to be more careful in picking your lines if you are rock crawling, or where you may fit if trail riding.
