Hmm, this is a good idea. But I wonder if you actually get better looking images. Because if you save a regular png, then resize the png up, it will have a bigger file size. The same goes for if you export your 1080 video to 4K. The output will have 4 times the resolution, so you actually Need that bitrate (would be my guess), but that would be a good video comparison. But my guess is that the 4K video doesn't actually look as good. Now, when you compare 24p and 30p with the same bitrate, it Does make sense that the single frames from 24p are higher quality than the 30p. But when you increase the resolution to 4K, it only would make sense to me if you actually get 4 times the bitrate. But it doesn't. It only gives double. Your frames are 4 times the amount of information, but it's giving you double the bitrate, from 12 to 25 (more if you have higher frame rate as well). So you'd need to download the files, overlay them on top of eachother and do a fancy split screen (it's not really fancy). I'd love to see that video. But since I think the difference will be nominal, and Not even in your favor, I'm not going to do it. Especially since I haven't had time to do enough videos to actually have followers. But I do like the idea.

I bought a Canon HR10 DVD camera for 30 Euro.. I was surprised that I can keep it connected to PC with USB lead and transfer the clips to PC without 'Finalising' discs and keeping the disc in camera and deleting files on disc after transfer with PC.. Only used indoors so don't know how good it would be outside.. if you do your research as yo go and be patient and then 'Snipe' in an eBay auction you will find a good Video cam... perhaps Panasonic HD with Hard drive .. for a great price..
