Frfr There was actually one story where someone got their cheating wife in jail for 6 years and the one she was cheating with, in jail for 20 years Let's just say the 20 was through "Jesse, we need to cook"
There are degrees at which it is too far. Though that also is determined on the situation. Now the stories I heard on this channel they didn't have situation in which they behaved in a way with the revenge that was unjust. There's sometimes non revenge things that weren't ok but they are never completely bad things
For the story with the kid not being invited to the sleepover party, I feel bad for him. It seems like a lot of parents don’t understand that their kids are the ones who suffer the most from their selfish actions. I can only imagine how awkward the kid feel on the day after the party where he was just waiting for his mom to get him. Watching his friends family get their stuff together and prepare for their other plans while just waiting for hours for his mom to come get him. I feel so bad for the kid. Must have been very awkward and nerve wracking especially when he wasn’t able to play with his friend during points that his friend was busy getting his stuff together.
Story #6 OP literally started the story off stating their ex-husband was not allowed to come to the party as well, so I don't get why AITJ said that the OP said the ex couldn't come. Also, nowhere in the story did OP say she asked their daughter if it would be okay if the girlfriend could come. Yes, the party was at OP home and she can have whomever she would like in it, but it was Lilly's party. I think the ex-wife just didn't want the girlfriend over her house.
OP sounds like a jealous manipulative ***** and can't stand the ex-husband moved on probs the reason why he divorced her. The narrators have white knight simp syndrome.
Ya and the tile for the story is kinda misleading it makes it seem like op just doesn’t want her ex there she probably doesn’t want the daughter to have another mother figure but that is just a thought of mine
No, that was just the title of the story. In the actual story, she sent him an invite specifically stating he could not bring his girlfriend. He took it to mean he couldn't come.
On one hand I get it. OP gets to decide who does and does not enter the house and she invited the father, so she didn't mess with his legal rights. On the other hand, it feels petty of OP to exclude the girlfriend, especially considering she met the daughter multiple times already. I feel like this has more to do with herself than the child's best interests.
Okay the story with the pregnancy cravings. That husband can go kick stones. When a pregnant woman is craving something it's usually because she is low on something. She's craving a steak, she's low on iron, craving ice cream, could be calcium, bananas, potassium. You get the point. It is your bodies way of tricking you into getting you to eat what you need to, not just for you but for your baby
@@auroragannon7727 usually it's still a lack of something. Like I've seen a pregnant woman want pickles and peanut butter. That could be a protein and potassium issue. Or something like Cheetos and ice cream being for the calcium in the dairy. But what a pregnancy craving is, is usually the brain telling you that "hey your baby need more of this to be healthy" and as such because our brain is using the excuse of the baby our instincts is to eat what it says. Sadly I wish my cravings were clear while pregnant. My body would be like "I need something", can I get a hint on what it could be, "it could be sweet, or maybe salty, how about savory, or sour. I don't know you pick and what ever it is you're wrong" It would irritated me but my husband found it funny. Because I would be sitting in my chair and I would randomly say "I'm craving something" my husband would ask what I was craving, I would tell him "I don't know, I'm going to go be trash panda" and I would get up and 5 minutes later walk out with a bag of the pasta you got from the store, and tell him I couldn't find anything
Story 1: I honestly dont know if that qualifies as gaslighting or not, but this story is beyond hilarious. I always hate cheaters and this revenge is just funny beyond words. You would think that the ex-gf and guy she was with would try and search for the causes of the noises, but i guess they werent too bright there. Story 2: I think its pretty clear that James' mom was just using the OP as a free babysitter and ignoring her son. I can't blame the OP for not inviting James and threaten to call the police for abandonment. It's always extreme, but sometimes you really have to pull that threat in order to get your point across. I feel bad for James for having this jerk for a mom. Story 3: I love it when bosses tell/suggest their workers to go elsewhere if they dont like the pay etc, then act all shocked when they actually do go elsewhere. You can't expect people to be loyal to you and/or the company with that kind of mindset and apparently and that low of pay. Story 4: Im surprised the OP lasted that long at a call center.... those jobs are terrible. I know i could never do a job like that. Anyone snaps at me, they are getting it back. Story 5: It sounds to me like the MIL is more bitter over the fact that the OP ate meat, rather then because she thinks she didn't like the cooking. That's really how a lot of vegans and vegetarians are sadly. Story 6: I think both the OP and the ex-husband are both being spiteful jerks here. Lilly has met the dad's new gf here, so she really isnt a stranger in the grand scheme of things. I think the OP is just using that as an excuse because there may be some unknown issue with one or the other here. The dad can also do something special himself for Lilly's birthday as well that can include his gf too. I do agree the OP has a right to say who can and can't attend, but i think everyone here is being childish on how they are handling it. Story 7: OP is not a jerk at all and Jane is just beyond over-reacting here. Just because the dog can have that as a treat does not mean it is "dog food". Jane needs to grow up and wake up here.
I think some would consider story 1 gaslighting in the original sense--the random noisemakers mirror the sort of psychological abuse that the villain in the film Gaslight (1944) did on the protagonist. (This is in fact where the term "gaslighting" comes from.)
The story about the sleepover, op is not the a**hole. Op set a time that the kid is supposed to be picked up. And she was 5 hours late.(correct me if im wrong), it would have been ok if that woman was 30 mins to 1 hour late. Also it doesnt matter if op had plans or not. There was no prior agreement to watch the kid after 11.

Story 3: I rarely ask for a raise, I just look for a job that pays better, apply, and interview for it. Upon getting the other job, I only ask for a raise at my current job as sort of a “Should I stay or should I go?”. If the raise isn’t to my satisfaction, I get a “No”, or the sort of malarkey such as what OP gets, I then leave for the other job. Typically, I never stay for more than three years at any job.
Story 1: Should have bid on the house (if ex’s parents put it up for sale) and bought it for cheap. Story 2: NTA. She asked a question, you gave an answer. Not your problem she didn’t like the answer she asked for.
Story 6: As the ex-husbands side of the family stated his girlfriend is an important part of HIS life not her's therefore of the op doesn't want her there because she feels it will be weird for the daughter it's her choice or she could've asked the daughter herself.
Story 4 is awesome. Well done Baby Genius. I remember years ago we had a neighbour who we will call David who bought a "dvd rom" drive for his computer from a local small computer run company. David brought it to my partner and said - "hey this isn't playing any dvd's" My partner said to him he would look at it. When my partner plugged it in, he beep bap booped the system information to find out it was a CD rom drive. "Sorry, David - it looks like you have been sold a CD rom drive, not a DVD rom drive" - David then argues with my partner saying "But it says DVD on the front, so it should take DVD's" After about an hour of trying to explain to David that you can put a ferrari body kit onto a ford fiesta, but underneath it would still be a ford fiesta, he brought David out to the shop and spoke to the shop owner and said "You sold David a CD Rom drive when it is actually meant to be a DVD Rom" - Turns out this small tech company was scamming clueless people. But David absolutely did not have to argue with my partner for over an hour on what was clearly showing up as a CD Rom drive no matter what the front panel of it said.
For the pregnant woman who got the chicken wings, her body was craving chicken wings because animal protein has essential building blocks for the growing baby. It would be very difficult to get the proper protein, fats, amino acids, etc. from a vegetarian diet.
Pregnancy cravings are amazingly strong. I craved rare steak, ice cream sundaes, salad, fruit salad and meat loaf with an intensity I had never experienced. When you fulfill that craving the satisfaction is like no other in that time.
i hope the new BF knows that she cheated on her old one (which i'm sure they're ex to her now when the truth is known) never hangs out with her again after that, it'll be _better safe then sorry_ for his sanity.
story 6 could have been all avoided by simply ASKING THE CHILD if they are ok with the dad bringing the gf shes 8 she can say yes im ok with it or no im not and go off that
The second to last story with the girlfriend of 6 months the mom is the AH. She’s being spiteful and the way she tells the story she’s leaving important stuff out that makes her look better.
I have some hermit crab food and tortoise food that I would eat cause I made it. Its not like I went out and bought actually pet food for them and put it together.
Dog food: was the food handled the same way that you would for human consumption? I know a lot of people cut corners when dealing with animal foods. Even though the ingredients were good, did you and your housemates make sure to wash your hands thoroughly? Did any accidentally fall on the floor, and get returned to the container because 'it's just for the dog?' OP could have disclosed the info up front so sis could make a fully informed decision about what her baby is eating.
2nd story: I think she just wanted free babysitting service and was mad that she couldn't get it again 5th story: During pregnancy, the body wants what the body wants
17:27 some parents are just so uptight about pets vs. babies stuff. I once suggested to some friends that they should use doggie poop bags for their babies' diapers instead of taking excessive # of bags from the grocery store checkout and wasting one bag per diaper Those poop bags are literally designed to be used for disposing poop and they come in sizes that could easily fit diapers. They were offended, but I lost a lot of respect for them that day. 😅
I have heard about the story, the first one on Be amazed🤯 and there was another story that got told on here and I heard that story before I’ll be amazed isn’t that mine blowing??
i actualy know the story long before "am i the jerk" made a video about it fun fact i watched be amazed and the cheating girlfriend is exacly like this one
Pregnant lady, start taking iron. Quite a lot of cravings point to deficiencies. Story 6- You haven't excluded the husband. Let him take it to court, the woman is only a girlfriend, not a step-mum, by the time it gets to court he'll probably be onto the next girlfriend.
Ok on the birthday one they behaved way better than me. I would have left that kid with the cops by dropping him off there and just went with what i had planned and just left a text saying "left ur kid with cops to pick him up go to police station "
The mother who was always late picking up her son story: I knew people like that Karen! They'd ask if they could leave their children for an hour or so and not show back up for two days! Once, the woman was pregnant. They left their two children to spend the night. It was two days later that they showed up all 'apologetic.' It came to light that they had stayed up all night doing crystal meth! And, her pregnant! I told her she had no business doing that and went back inside. A few years later, she saw me coming home and did a wide u-turn and raced after me. When I got in my driveway, she pulled up and hopped out, talking about how she had some things she needed to do and what not. I flatly told her I didn't babysit and walked inside, shutting the door behind me. Problem - solved! LOL
Story 6: he keeps saying that he has just as much right to be at his daughter's birthday party, but that's not in question. Its his GF that isn't invited, what, can you not survive without her for one day?? Just because Lily has met your GF doesn't mean she wants her at her birthday party 😮💨😤
Grandma: Rosie Granddad: Alastor Mum: velvette Dad: Valentino 💀 Brother: Rosie..? Sister: Lucifer Cousin: vox Cousin 2: lucifer- Gf: sera Me: Lilith End result: what the frick is this family star
I feel bad for that original poster that's having the baby daddy drama all because girlfriend can come to the party bullshit it's like dude if you really cared about having a kid you would not be worrying about your girlfriend being there but have that talk later on down the line because during your kids birthday party is not the place to be making a fight about how do you have the right to be there which is correct sir but not your girlfriend not only that this is your ex-wife's home that everybody is having the party at which I am guessing on why she doesn't also want the girl from being there so there you go the guy has no right to be bitching about his girlfriend not being there
Okay the ex-husband one is crazy, like, you said his new girlfriend isn't allowed to come because she's just a stranger, not someone she knows or is remotely close to, yet the one always referred to as being excluded is the husband? Like what? The op never said he wasn't allowed there, just his girlfriend. He was trying to subtly threaten legal action and that's insane.
Last story. First of all, saying Jane is a "new" mom is ridiculous. The baby's closing in on a year old, so Jane is just a mom, not a new one. Secondly, Jane needs to get over it. If she doesn't understand that peanut butter, banana, and oats are human food which dogs can also eat, she's too stupid to be a parent and someone should probably take the baby away from her. Their mother isn't helping anything by sympathizing with Jane, she is just enabling her stupidity and delusions. She needs to just sit Jane down and again tell her that PB, oats, and banana are human foods. Just because dogs can also eat them doesn't make them "dog food". It's not like OP popped open a can of Alpo and started spoon-feeding it to the kid. Jane's stupidity is just staggering.
GASLIGHT THEM ALL HERE'S SOME LINES: Is he good? Her: yeah U: *Sends a million pictures of caps* Or Was he better than the guy this morning Him: WHAT?!?!?! U: It was meant for her mb
"If you want more Money, go work somewhere else" *shrug* Sure thing Boss. Here's my Resignation. "Surprise Pikachu Face" If the Boss valued Loyalty, then he shouldn't have been a skinflint. The Boss told him to go look somewhere else to get more money, Op obliged. You can only blame yourself.
I disagree on the party ask lilly it’s his daughter birthday too after all mom should understand they have to split the guest list . I’m sure if she had a boyfriend he would been there
Story 2 breaks my heart. Don’t get me wrong here, OP is completely in the right. She had every right to ACTUALLY call the police to report an abandoned child and the asshole mom is extremely lucky she was given a warning instead. OP also has even more of a right to not invite the kid anymore. It doesn’t make her an “uppity bitch” to want her and her family’s time to be respected. Not going to respect me and the rules I’ve set? Then I don’t want you around. My heart breaks for James though. His mom seems like a selfish asshole and I can only image how that translates into his day to day. Because of her he now has to miss out on activities with kids his age and is actively losing friends. Because of his mother’s selfish actions he’s the one suffering, and that genuinely breaks my heart. Poor kid
Last story: Smart person logic: this is made of banana, peanut butter, and oat. Its a pretty simple treat a baby or dog could both like. Dumb lady's logic: A dog eats this! This is dog food! You want to feed my baby dog food! ...should we tell her everything else that people feed dogs as treats? Her kid will be put on a chocolate covered raisin diet.
hay I'm sorry but Jan chill it there is a thing called puppy chow that ALSO HUMAN AND DOG FOOD my sister made it from scratch and I don't like the test it does have chocolate and some type of food for breakfast and white padder like you make homemade cookie or bread it's flower she use
