Story #3: some people, such as myself, aren’t exactly the greatest in social interactions, and maybe the OP’s crush has issues returning compliments, like I do a lot of the time. Now, as I’m currently in a relationship, I’ve gotten slightly better at it with my partner, but I still have problems interacting with others who I’m not close to. Not as bad of problems, but they’re still there.

Free loading, entitled sister: The guy says that he wanted his sister to let him be his own person. That's not her job it's his. I am also somewhat introverted but I learned to be assertive which feels like being aggressive, but for people like his manipulating, entitled sister (really? refusing to go back up to the apartment until the wife has to come all the way downstairs?) it's the only way to get them to stop. One may have to do this multiple times but the result is either they comply, they decide to leave, or you decide they will leave. Don't worry about what she tells the family, because there is nothing you can do or say that will make her happy and she will find something to complain about, including you prostrating yourself and saying your wish is my command. I would bet that even if she said that she had a wonderful time that she would go home and complain how awful it was. If your family chooses to believe whatever she tells them about your behavior without hearing your side, then you may want to consider keeping them at arm's length as they are as toxic as she is.

Story 2: Honestly, I am sad to say many parents actually encourage their children to kill little animals like cats, dogs, hamsters puppies and very horrible things, as people where I believe animals from the street bring bad luck, but I don't fall for that BS. My family believes none of it and they always take in the injured animals. However, our neighbor was the worst. He used to hit any living thing (including humans) with rocks, beat them up with sticks, and shoot us with his God damn bear rifle, which is like a toy gun that shoots bullets that aren't dangerous but they FUCKING HURT. Moral of the story don't abuse animals and teach your children not to too.

The advice from Story 3 literally is my friend group right now with me and my crush. We don't talk much since we both work places where we're not allowed to have our phones with us for a long time unless it's break or lunch time. But our convos are cool, we share anecdotes and drawings (we both draw, he's a bit more experienced than me and I use it to my advantage to talk to him) He's gave me some compliments like I smelled nice or looked cute the times we've met. And bought me snacks when it's not obligatory. Once I gave him a Gumball pin and he gifted me a pack of cookies I love. And he's been really grateful when I sended him an Alastor pin and stickers with his sister (She works on the same work place, and he moved departments so I don't quite see him face to face) I just don't know if I should really shot my shot with him since I'm not really that experienced in romance aside from advices from my friend's past relationships. And I don't want to make the friendship awkward or backfire on me.
