I don't know what he was thinking, other than he was a wimp, a simp who couldn't come to a decision. This story is very typical of so many stories nowadays. It really happens, and real men are not putting up with it. Nor should a woman if a husband asks. The cause of this is usually corrupt friends talking her into it, or maybe she got ran through like the Brooklyn tunnel in college. Women were never meant to have more than one sexual partner for life. Same with men, but it is different.
Kind of hard to keep listening when OP is so damned stupid! This story really could have been about 7 minutes long. He talked about the marriage being over as soon as she moved out, then waited another 3-4 months to call a lawyer. By the end I wanted them both to lose.

When a woman says she needs to find her self it means she has found someone she wants to screw and she wants permission to do it without being considered a cheater. Broken vows is the end for me. There is no such thing as an "open" marriage and it is almost always one sided. I would be lawyering up.
