The Republic of Chechnya is a fairly new tourist destination even for Russian domestic tourists. Around 2021, this republic with a majority Muslim population will begin to become a tourist destination for tourists from various parts of the world, because of its natural landscape and city architectural design.
When entering the city of Grozny, which is the largest city and the capital of the Republic of Chechnya, you will often find large photos and names of Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov, often together with the incumbent leader, Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose photos are posted in almost all public places in Checnya.
Many of the buildings in Grozny are completely new in concept and design. Of course this does not only apply to the development of the city of Grozny which is famous for its skyscrapers, but also to shopping centers and stadiums which are increasingly modern.
