A failure with the mass airflow sensor can be the cause of many engine, emissions, or fuel efficiency problems! Hello my friend. One question. I have a Nissan Micra 2020, and suddenly at 100 km the speed pedal didnt work for 5 seconds and the start stop button which i had opened had been closed (seems that the whole system had been reseted) Then after 5 seconds car woke up and i could speed up again. This happened 2 times in 1 day.. Any idea what might be the problem?

Man I been having this code for about a year now for my 2008 G35 sedan. I clean the air filter & cabin filter, bought a new MAF sensor, clean my throttle body and replaced my intake hose and still have this code!

Decent video 👍 Ohm/resistance checks are a waste of time, use a test light (like you said). Also, your meter showed negative resistance, so there is something wrong with that test 😮

Hi I had a Code PO118 at first and found out the Temperature Sensor had to be changedm all done then the Code PO102 cam up,! looked at your Mass Air Flow Cleaningm All Great! Thanks Again!

Great video! Please what electrical issues causes the Toyota Avalon 5pin maf sensor to have 3 ground and no power? What is the source of the power and 2 grounds?

Can you tell me why. I already changed new mass air flow sensor on my car and I drive around 20-30 minutes. But the check engine light it's still on.

My 2021 Canyon Jess coded with this error. The little message box intermittently pops up and comes off again telling me it’s gonna go to 65 mph max. Then it goes off and it comes on again a little while later with the same amount of miles available before it goes into that mode.

Thank you!! Question...I'm having trouble with my MAF sensor, changed it out and I still have the and issue. The wires look ok, but it looks like I'm missing a metal "prong" inside one of the holes where you tested the DC current. Could this be my problem!?

Melanie sounds like if your having the same problem after replacing it then yes i would look into getting a new plug and compairing it. Is there a wire on the other side of the missing prong if so then most definitly that could be your problem.

I keep getting the check engine light and the scan is code P0103 which is Mass or volume air flow circuit high input. However, the truck doesn't have one. 08 Dodge Ram 1500 V6. Any ideas?

New maf and still getting the p0101 code but only at cold start once it warms up it goes away... wouldn't that point towards intake gasket?

Do 12V and 5V both connect to the hot wire inside the sensor. It doesn't make sense. Imagine, two different power voltages connect to a bulb with one ground. My Subaru has no 5V voltage for MAF.

I've replaced my MAF twice this year with the last one being a Walker Products 245-1120 for my 2001 BMW 325i e46 and it runs disconnected but not connected. Any suggestions on the proper sensor or possible other problem? Thanks.

So I replaced the mass air flow sensor on my Cadillac srx and I erased the code and it came back. So I replaced the wiring harness and erased the code and it still came back. On my scanner I am getting 5 grams (ish) of oxygen per second. What do I do next?

I replaced the MAF sensor and it says mass airflow A circuit low. Do I need to replace the connector to the MAF sensor?

Hi there folks, my car is a 1986 Volvo 245 DL. It runs but it has low power when I throttle up in park, ( bogs down) When I remove the M.A.F. plug it seems to idle smoother, but it still bogs when I throttle it up in park. I have cleaned the throttle body & has new gasket, new plugs, new wires, new cap & rotor, new or good vacuum hoses, new intake manifold gasket, new fuel regulator, I cleaned out the Idle air control valve with MAF cleaner & sprayed some lubricant in to the valve, cleaned and replaced all the PCV system, I changed both fuel pump, new fuel, filter, I have a new O2 oxygen sensor coming, ( The only thing I can think of is that either the MAF is bad or the IAC valve is bad) Any suggestion from any Volvo enthusiast? ( By the way, the car sat for 6 yrs, I drained the old gas put fresh fuel, changed the oil and fired right up.)

hello . 09 Buick Enclave when I turn ac get the code p0102 maf sensor and c0299 brake boost regulation , I already replace maf sensor twice same issue but if I drive the vehicle with out ac . runs great . happen only when I turn ac , any help I appreciated

Hi! Bro. Thank you for sharing this amazing video. I need your help and some advice,. I have a 2013 Nissan sentra and I was having issues with the transmission. Two weeks ago I was visiting my friend in Mexico and the engine light came on and after checking and trying to figure out turns out that was a transmission problem, I decided to rebuild the transmission when the job was done I tested the car and I runned for a couple hours, but the car still have issues, gears were not switching, it kept dropoing the speed the high that was developing was 65 mph, I scanned and the scanner through me the following codes, P0965, P0111,P0847,P2859, P0112, P0102, could please help me out and give me some advise. Thank you

Why does a p0102 code came on for mass air flow. Replaced it know it showed p0101 when I first took in. They replace it he said it's a different code reading p0101. That's not the mass air flow.

So I replaced my MAF and now I’m getting fuel trims that seem off. Short terms great it hovers around -1 -2 to 0 never goes plus but the long term always seems to start at -11 then after driving for an hour it goes to -15 now I’m no expert but shouldn’t both of these be at 0 or close too. Other then that car runs fine no more stalling from a bad MAF just odd fuel trims

Please Help. Somebody put a NEW AIR FILTER into my car. Now the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR IS setting CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. Do I really need a new mass air flow sensor ? Cleaning it didn't work to get the code to go away. It was NOT causing a CODE, until AFTER we put a new air filter in. 🙄☹️☹️☹️ It was a tight PUSH, to get the air filter in where it was supposed to be.

Usually you can find wire diagram on the web. Or parts store they can print it out. Service manual from dealerships will deffinitly have them.
