Thank you for the video! EQ is great I started with EQ 4,5,7 and now 8 back in the day I often participated in internet swaps, EQ was great to design outstanding borders. Its as helpful as it is FUN!😊
I recently got the Deep Dive and have been reading through it. I'm not sure that I could move fast enough for a Zoom, but I would really appreciate a step by step video (maybe weekly or monthly?) I need to go slowly. Thank you for polling for suggestions.
I've been toying with the idea of EQ8 but can't quite jump to buying it. It's a lot of money, and I'm afraid I won't be able to use it after making the investment. A Zoom class would be great, but a multi session "how-to" class would be even better. I need to go slowly and see the same video several times before I really get. I would definitely sign up for such a class and would be willing to pay for it.
Well I did it! 🤗 I ordered the EQ8 software from Target. It’s on sale now for $148 and I have 90 days if I wish to return it! I went ahead and got it from Target bc it’s on sale now and I was doubtful it would be any cheaper Black Friday if at all. If I do find it cheaper on a Black Friday sale I’ll return this one and get the better deal call me cheap 😂 but everyone else is selling it for over $200 and I didn’t want to miss out 🤗 however I will not be opening it up till Christmas Day it’s a present to myself 🥰
Woohoo!!! Yay! That's awesome! Yeah, I think when EQ does sales, they usually do 25% off. I think you're really going to like the software!! It's so fun to play in! haha!
YES! I've had the tab open to order EQ8, but was waiting on a sale (figuring black friday would be it).....but the target link! Bam.....going shopping today. So all this to say, yes, I would like a series/class to learn how to use my new 'toy'!
Oh yay!!! Yeah that is a great deal through Target! I'll be planning out a class and figure out the schedule. Then I'll announce in a future video and email to my email list!
@StitchObsessed I've had the EQ8 software for a while, but it is confusing to me. Would this book make it less confusing? I also bought the Block Base + and the book Encyclopedia of Piece Quilt patterns. I'm dyslexic. My brain doesn't always allow me to process technical things right. If you think this book will help me, I'll order it in a few weeks.
Thank you Miriam! I just got one via your link. I have many, many panels to work up, and using EQ8 will be a tremendous help to construct those pesky borders to size! ❤
I totally get that! I’d love to do a workshop and go through the software with a group! I’ll figure out a schedule and let everyone know in a future video! 👏🏻💖
I have had EQ8 for a while but not really sure how to use it. A Zoom would be great. I would love to watch you use the program. New member here and love watching your videos.
This is super cool, and the price isn’t as crazy as I thought it was going to be. I wonder if I could play with it to figure out how to make the quilt I saved on Pinterest with no link 😔
Hmmm that’s a good question! I wasn’t able to find it on Amazon, but I did see the Target price is much cheaper. I honestly don’t know if it’s legit or why it would be so much cheaper than Electric Quilt’s price 🤷🏻♀️
There's nothing worse than picking out a bunch of fabric that all play well together, only to find it looks awful in the actual quilt. This happened to an experienced quilting friend. We were looking at her quilt hung at the quilt show when someone came up, looked at it, and said, "This looks terrible! It's too confusing with all of those prints." They had NO idea my friend had made it.
I was looking @ (& considering) the AccuQuilt GO! Qube: Mix & Match, Plus Corners and Angles to import ($39.95). Does this booklet include that import?
