The brand new Rolls-Royce Cullinan is finally here after a long wait! Entering into the off-road market for the first time, Cullinan is quite literally the Rolls-Royce of SUVs. Join me for a first detailed look around the new introduction, from the exterior to the interior, to discover what it is all about.
On a visit to the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, UK, we can fully explore the Cullinan in detail. Starting off with an overview of some of the details before moving into a walkaround to take in the styling and exterior highlights, then jumping inside to experience the luxury and touch on the technology available.
Signature characteristics that are known from Rolls-Royce models are maintained in the Cullinan, including for example the large and proud front grille, the rear doors that open backwards, and an opulent interior with the finest materials.

It doesn't look that big, but is hard to judge. May be park it next to a Range Rover then we will have a better idea. I would say the initial impression is a little underwhelming. I expected it to be absolutely massive and over the top like what Rolls should be.

dirt roads wouldn't be an issue. but anything more than that i personally dont think it'd be up to it. they claim in offroad mode the ground clearance is 233 mm. compare that to a stock 2018 subaru outback at a clearance of 220.98 mm. not bad but for stumps,rocks, or excessive mud,vegetation i see this thing getting stuck.

Despite all the negative comments you know this thing is going to sell well. It's a smart move from Rolls-Royce. Almost every single luxury SUV that people derided (perhaps other than the Saab 9-7!) before it was released was a success. The Cayenne (obviously) and the Bentayga are 2 prime examples.

Impressive, very aesthetically successful (I do not like the Bentayga), and what luxury ! Your presentation is perfect and very complete, I eagerly await the road test, and off-road but being very careful (it is not a Land Rover 1948 ...). It is incredible the number of motorized accessories, it is hoped that the battery holds the shock ...otherwise you will have to push the Beast (and good luck !).Bye from France !

This car just lacks something which I don't know what it is!? The design lines are just not proportional, the rear it's pretty much un-even with the rest of the car and for the first time in a RR, something feels cheap about the design. It will have lots of succes, especially in the Middle East, but just like with the Bentayga, the Ultra-luxury SUV market, just isn't that amazing.G-class still the king, with Range coming close!

I like how the back opened up in two sections and it was easier to load your cargo and you could sit on the bottom section if you wish to relax and look at the scenery! The power fold down seats, privacy cover you could store away and the trick towing ball was very nice, well done !

X7 is not an Escalade/Suburban competitor. It competes only with MB GLS. And another 'no' - people who need a minivan but are looking for more luxury get Escalades, Navigators and LX 570s. X7 is for people who have X2/3/4/5/6 and then suddenly had 1-2 more kids to haul without wanting to suppress their multiple personality driving disorder.

I actually quite like the look of the car, it manages to retain the typical Rolls Royce kind of look. I'm pretty sure that this car will be quite successful especially on the Middle Eastern market. Besides that as always great review :)
