So it’s overpriced brown and black spray paint? I mean, there are simpler and cheaper solutions. I did a lot of v carve engravings on my CNC. If it’s masked like that, just choose your color. If not, you can hit it with a dull coat, which seals the wood, then paint and sand back. But my favorite technique is the most simple. Water colors. Think out your desired color, stipple it into the design, wipe it back, let it dry for about 10 min and reapply as needed. Can even be undone if you go too dark. It also can be applied as a subtle stain to bring out the wood grain. Using dark wood, like walnut? Use white to add contrast. It won’t be opaque and shiny and cheap looking like spray paint, it’ll let the wood show through, and will fill the grain and voids showing the texture.
So I didn’t read this. Because of the first line. It’s not. If anything it’s regularly priced “spray stain”. And if you don’t like it just keep scrolling boyo.
@@BuildDadBuildnormally like you, but this ain't it. I was thinking the same thing he said. No need to be rude. Either explain why it's differed than spray paint, or ignore the comment. You're the one in the wrong here, not the guy providing engagement to your short.
@@BuildDadBuild if you had finished reading the comment, he provided alternatives to that sprays and why they are good. The comment was as useful, if not more so, than the video itself.
Hey nick do you think if i put laser dark on then put food save mineral oil on do you think icab be used for food cutting boards I am using bamboo to make santa trays?? Thanks for you videos I dig them all..
QUESTION! Did you not have any soot from the laser burn? I always have burned wood in the engraving I have to brush out. Did you not have that when you applied the laser dark or do you just spray over it? Thanks BDB! Always Great videos!
