I use two grinders when I sharpen blades... One with the flap disk and one with the knotted wire brush. I clean the whole blade real quick and then sharpen em. I also wear my respirator when I do that so I don't inhale all of the dust 😉 I actually love sharpening mower blades.
Only thing is you need to get all the grass and debris off otherwise it will have the blade(s) off balance which can/could cause a vibration that may not be enough to feel but could be enough to vibrate your blade bolt/nut loose.
It’s not gonna be enough grass buildup to make anything vibrate, not that close to the spindle anyway because as soon as you crank them over and start mowing, you’re gonna start getting build up there
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1think about it like the tire on your car that is off balance, but the difference is the mower blade is spinning 10x faster. And if a tire that is 1/2 oz. off at 30 mph can shake the hell out of a car then what do you think a mower blade is going to do.
Great advice Jeremy! I have missed your videos! I hope all is well with you and your family. Happy Easter 🐣🐰🐇! That tire mount cities still the best one I have ever seen!
