Woo-hoo star ocean! The second I saw this I knew I'd get invested. Tbh I haven't played a star ocean game since till the end of time but it still stands as one of my favorite games in the genre. Might have to check this out now.

I love the star ocean series but they have never figured out cut scenes and NOT make them look like lifeless puppets. only good one they had with 3d was Till the end of time, and that barely gets a pass.

To be honest this a good and interesting concept, a space marine trap in a medieval planet, I don't understand why never try it before.

How is it looks good

One thing I've got a nit pick about, and it is indeed just a nit pick, is that past Star Ocean 2 I feel SP really doesn't...matter much. It feels odd as I remember that there were so many different things to learn and craft back in Star Ocean 2 and the subsequent games the crafting was always sub par. There was an excitement as well to watching the thing being "made" instead of just a cut out and all of that. That's really my only gripe about Star Ocean's 3, 5 and Divine Force (4 couldn't grab me in the first 15 minutes of gameplay sadly). Two's crafting system and SP system felt perfect and I much preferred learning new arts through using them instead of the watered down version we have for Divine Force BUT then again I'm only 15 hours in and level 40 so maybe that changes. I don't know.

The character's faces are throwing me off, but the game looks fun. I've only played IAF in the series so far and enjoyed it, so I'll probably pick this up at some point.
