Checking parasitic draw

Using a voltage drop test on a fuse to check parasitic draw. The problem with the Vantage is it picks up too much interference when the leads are not connected to anything as seen at the end of the video. Other than that this seems to be a valid method of testing for a loaded circuit that might be drawing your battery down.

Also when u have a draw its usually more like 350 ma because an entire module is staying alive so if u use clamp to verify say a 200ma draw now use the voltage drop across fuse/testing to find it and u never unhooked battery

I have used a low amp probe in a pinch to find a draw on a couple occasions. So maybe w/ the pulling fuse methods causing havoc on todays systems, maybe use the amp clamp to verify ther is a prob. Because we all know just disconnecting a battery to put ammeter in line. can be hell on these new cars with all the auto window relearns and everything else.
