I feel like the winning moments of Ind vs Pak match when Rohit picked up Kohli to celebrate shows how at the core what really matters to both is to play and win for their country more than any competition among themselves or any personal grudge when they are on the field they are devoted to the game and stand by each other doing what they like to do the most, to play cricket.......
To be honest. If BCCI starts to be quiet and let things move smoothly. Things will also move great. Indian team has two might batsman - Rohit and Virat. No other team has such privilage to have two highly ranked batsman. Other teams in the world are jealous of Indian team. And we, make controversies between them, limiting the privilege we have.

@@DeepakSingh-mm7bp that is a separate matter. I am only talking about the number of t20 matches. India play so many T20 games next year, compared to ODI. That's what I mean by heavy workload
Indian media is a major instigator in such scenarios. That is the reality of this entire Virat-Rohit saga. Really like the last bit of your video: "There has to be competition between these two players". I mean do we realize how big a role social media has played in this entire fiasco? There's all sorts of rubbish posts going around on FB, Insta and Twitter, which is what leads to these kinds of speculative news stories in the first place.

He was dropped in 2018, and 2020 as well. He told openly he lost half of his career, playing down the order.
@Trashy People "rohit is not made for patience".. Didn't you see his defense in eng test matches? Without rahul and rohit opening I don't think we would have won the matches in eng.
It's highly intriguing and funny at the same tie that if India wins, be it test, odi or t20is... The player who performs the best in that match is always given the credit, the captain kohli or his captaincy is never recognised by the media or even the stupid fans. But if India loses even one game due to perhaps a collective failure or a batting collapse, The media and the so called 'FANS' always steps up to blame Kohli, question his captaincy, his form, his decisions, even his personal life. That man was, is and will be the most dedicated player in the Indian team with or without these trolls, But if you plan to sabotage him, please don't, Because he deserves better.
You are 💯 present correct.when a batsman fails ..media also shows that is the mistake of captain.Even not getting chances in play that also become the mistake of the captain. It is very much crazy.
Not a virat kohli fan but you have already seen it how everyone was saying that because now we have MSD as the mentor, we are going to win the wc. And what happened after the loss?? Everyone's blaming the captain and not Dhoni. I mean if you're going to appreciate the mentor more than the captain in case of victory, you should do the same in case of a loss.

Lovely video. Appreciate the fact, that you've done a lot of research, and not clipped one from hearsay. It's saddening, the way BCCI treats it's players. Treating them as commodities rather than humans. The public rift between 2 senior players, was a result of the buffoonery of BCCI s media management. It's time to look at alternatives to the BCCI. India also look a more relaxed team when Kohli is not around as a captain. Rahane captained India brilliantly in the win against Australia in 2021, and Shastri gave credit to Kohli saying this is his side lol. Kohli has become bigger than the game in India and media influencers like you are batting for him. I support the Men in Blue. It is a team sport and whether you like it or not under his captaincy India has not won a single ICC major tournament. With so much talent at hand. Kohli and Shastri are also accountable. Hope that with Rahul Dravid taking over the Indian cricket team plays to its fullest potential and with full respect for the India cap. And Kohli regains his mojo as a great batsman.
The only thing which matters to us is a victory for team India, whether it comes through Virat’s bat or Rohit’s. I understand that Virat and Rohit both have different styles of captaincy. But, both are good in their own ways. After all that has happened, I still feel that Virat should have stayed as the test captain. His test record is absolutely amazing. I also wish that he goes and breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s record of a 100 hundreds. If there’s anyone in the world who can do it, it’s Virat.
A pattern to ponder over - Cool composed demeanour of captains/coach has brought BIG trophies for India in the past. 1983 world cup - Kapil Dev. 2007 T20 world cup - Dhoni 2011 world cup - Dhoni (Coach - Gary Kirsten) Though, I would like Virat lifting one such BIG trophy for the immense talent that he is but *aggressive* captain is yet to win one! (Similarly, Saurav Ganguly was a great captain too who missed out on lifting the world cup in SA). Looks like, in future - (Rohit Sharma- captain/Rahul Dravid - coach) combination should do the trick.

With all said, written and done.... there is something "not so good blood" between King and Hitman. How many times have we seen Virat and Rohit talking or consulting with each other when the team needs some strategy on the go on the field?. Rare... very rare!!... this is despite Rohit being the vice captain. Either the tussle is real or media made or both. But, it appears to be there. Even if Rohit is someone who does not express his mind as much as virat, for the thir party and outsiders like us, it looks like something is going on. It is all about perception management in any leadership role
I believe Virat is an awesome batsman. He has amazing record of being the most successful captain, but at the end of the day, the major battles matter a lot. Virat should willingly leave captaincy to Rohit to ensure team win at bigger stages. Virat was a great captain, but need of the hour is to have someone new, Rohit, someone who has great skills at winning big tournaments and can bring the world cup.
Rohit is not the replacement winning ipl is different.in mumbai indians pollard is better at making crucial decisions. Also some youngster should be goven the captaincy not rohit .once rohit goes out of form he will really struggle because of his fitness.so a youngster is the better option than rohit in all the ways period.
@@akhilkumar968 we have 3 world cups in next 3 years. It is not the time for try and test. Yes, I completely agree to this. Virat should willingly leave the captaincy not only in the T20Is but in the ODIs too. It's not like kii Virat ain't a good captain but the fact of the matter is Rohit is far far better leader than anyone in the team! So, for the goods of Indian cricket, the BEST MAN should get the opportunity to lead his country.
Thing is Rohit can still make decisions on the field so I don't think it's worth changing so much, it's fine in 1 format as Kohli himself is quitting but Odi wc is just 2 years away
Honestly, the Indian cricket team has two legends of cricket playing together at the SAME TIME. No other team ever has had this privilege. But we being the country that we are, want only one to be at the top. My question is why can't both be put at the top? Yes, Rohit has won 5 IPL trophies but Virat has established India's test dominance throughout the world. If splitting the captaincy brings peace, then that's great. But in all of this, I can only see Virat being pushed out of the set up, not because of Rohit Sharma but because of other reasons stated in this video. Yes, ICC trophies are important but we all saw what happened in this year's T20 tournament. And if these trophies only mattered, then why play bilateral series???? In the World Test Championship, whoever has seen it knows, it rained for more than half of the test match with India batting first. That meant bowling with a wet ball, batting against a proper new ball and LESS TIME. But that wasn't the cause for the lose. How can you expect players to deal with the endurance of test cricket after playing only T20 games. New Zealand played England in England before that match. But India played IPL, were not given any test games, Virat had even said in a press conference that he requested for a few test matches before the final, but they were denied that opportunity. India were also suppose to play the New Zealand T20 matches before the T20 world cup, but that got cancelled too. I am not trying to give an excuse for him, I am just stating the facts. I have to end by saying this. Any other country, and many of them have said this, would be more than grateful to have even one of them and WE HAVE BOTH. Let's love them equally because India is good now in this condition, if these two manage to make things work out and if we can support them equally, then there's no saying what Indian cricket is capable of.
Ever had the privilege? Which world are you in lol. many teams had multiple legends playing at the same time. 2011 Indian team, 96-2008 Australian team :D
This was the classic example of how politics ruins LEGACY. i was the fan of Yuvi and i can proudly say Dhoni became dhoni because Yuvi is Yuvi. Now being a fan of Rohit now, there are times i would think Rohit should have talked with VK and backed him over the fight with board..it might have avoided the extra pressure on King himself and we might saw the "TROPHY".. now at least we can hope that these 2 legends will retire with at least 1 ICC trophy in their hands excluding 2011, 2013

After seeing this video, my answer is there was surely a rift between virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, they have opposite captaincy style. At this point Its absolutely necessary that virat should give up captaincy in all forms and focus entirely on his batting something that Tendulkar did. He is starting to get out of his prime, if he needs to extend it he has to play as a pure batsman.
