uk version is way better and much more down to earth. Aus has the better and more interesting challenges but its unwatchable with all the cheering and music and melodrama, its over the top.

this my friend, is why I love them the most. out of all masterchef series worldwide, this one's gotta be number one since it has the strongest chemistry between the judges and contestants. like a whole family, unlike my own country version though

yea, masterchef canada is okay as it feels like a straight up competition but the judges there do have some connection with the contestants, masterchef usa is basically a drama show/hunger games

4:45 What he didn't say, is that if the butter isn't set, it can mix with the mixture and may fail to assist with the rising. Butter being set/cold makes it work.

Master chef Australia is so different that other masterchefs. There's a greater sense of student/ teacher relationship here and less about panic, drama to rake in views.

@@martinslovak9767 that's why i was pleasantly surprised... I have heard that the Australian judges were nicer and such... And I've watched some of the American seasons... I've never ever seen them really teach... Maybe a "this is how you make pasta" "this is how you filet a salmon" "one of us will be cooking beside you"... But not a full on tutorial like this

DDS11 the contestants are taught each dish prior to every skills challenge, just off camera. That’s the hidden concept of masterchef.

Masterchef australia is by far my favorite reality show .. I think what makes it the best for me is the human part alongside with the high standards of Cuisine.. The judges are amazing, the candidates don t stop surprising .. and the guests, simply the best in the world! Thank you all guys for what you re doing! Cheeeeers mates from Morocco!

I remember watching the early seasons of this show as a kid and found the masterclasses the most boring parts. Now as an adult, while I still love all the other bits, these are now my favorite.

I've never understood why they do these masterclasses but don't let all the contestants taste the dishes. You need to know what something should taste like when it's created by the best cooks so you know where you can improve when you make it.

The Judges are just like their friends lol unlike masterchef Us or Canada. They call the judges by their names but in Us and canada you must call them "Yes chef, Thank you chef". Once in masterchef canada a contestant called a judge "buddy" and the judge said *"It's Chef, not Buddy"

@@Hagg-o-tron The funny thing about that is that Gordon Ramsay's culinary style is often described as being focused on taste whiteout relying on fat and he's known for keeping his dishes light. That says a lot about restaurant food. It's basically a question of how you'd like your fat, sugar and salt prepared.

As careme proposed in the 1700's, humans enjoyment of food is linked to the rendering of either fat in savoury dishes with the addition of salt or vinegar. Or the breaking apart of sugar with eggs to make it less sweet and cloying. I cannot think of a dish that's bucked the trend

Masterchef canada judges teaching the contestants: everybody is happy, wanted to learn. Meanwhile masterclass with gordon, which probably costs A LOT to watch in person: contestants doesn't want to watch, instead they're preparing for the challenge in exchange of a new culinary knowledge.
