Speaking as a guy that worked in the kitchen for almost 30 years, those steaks are a great product for the price in the restaurant business we call those breakaway steaks I use them in all kinds of recipes even a Philly cheesesteak, homemade pizza, which is absolutely wonderful. I even made patty melt out of them. They’re versatile and they’re a good product.
Walmart does not always have them but when they do I grab a bunch of boxes and put them in the freezer hands down the best stake you'll ever use for a sandwich quick and easy and absolutely delicious and they are not tough
I probably would have sautéed the veggies separately and then combined the cheese, steak, and veggies in a bowl and then mixed it BUT wtbs, awesome idea and recipe!!
Sis I am so excited to do these!!! That looks so delicious 🤤🤤🤤. I did imitation crab meat egg rolls for the first time and cannot stop eating them with some Thai style sweet chilli sauce, mercy🤤💯❤️👑 Thank you so much for sharing 😁
@@SharronDenise here you are my sister; I buy the coleslaw already prepared (less hassle) if you like a lot of carrots buy the shredded carrots (organic) and add to the slaw you will be using. I take a half of pack of the family size flake style imitation crab meat and using my scissors I cut them up fine in a bowl and in another bowl I cut up the slaw and carrot fine.. Then combine them together and I add light salt, white pepper & some soy sauce that's it. This makes from 9-12 depending on the size. They are so delicious and the Thai sweet chili sauce oh my! Hope you enjoy, let me know how it turned out.
This recipe right here!! Yummy!! Btw baltimore has always had Philly cheesesteak eggrolls in the hood!! Lol gay street and westside chinese spots had them best after hours food💜🖤
Born & raised in Philly. I know some of y’all are gonna ride me for this, but, I only like black pepper, ketchup & extra cheese on my cheesesteak. But for egg rolls I may add red & yellow peppers for a bit of crunch & flavor.
I have tried this yet I made a philly cheesesteak last week In September I put mushrooms nd green peppers nd red peppers nd yellow peppers I used the gourmet philly cheesesteak meat that looks good I have to make this soon
Those are my fav to use... I suggest a much larger pan or flat top if you have one. I put the veg down 1st cause i want the veg cooked, no more than 2 of the steaks per pan, then a little bit of worchershire and A1. Cook high and fast, add your preferred cheese then do what you want. Egg rolls, hoagies, on top of rice, in a wrap, it's all yum!
I'm going to try these , only difference I will mix Velveeta cheese(the white package) and combine steak and veggies together. 😋 It looks great good work 👍
Yes, I have tried the Philly Cheesesteak Beef from Walmart. I found that it still needed to be seasoned. A decent product for cheesesteak sandwiches. I made the mini sliders with this product & put them in the oven brushed the top with garlic butter...delish!
I absolutely love that steak and you are absolutely correct it still needs a little seasoning but that's just my preference but I love it because it's not tough you would think that it would be tough because it's an off bread what is absolutely delicious steak for sandwiches for having for breakfast with eggs or egg rolls or anything else you can decide to use them in quick and easy and delicious I buy all the boxes I can buy all the boxes they must have been popular because they're never enough On the shelf
@@SharronDenise I forgot to ask you my last message you know when you're frying the steak is that shaved steak it's just still for me it still looks like a steak when it's in the pan cooking or is that a full steak and then you could after you finish it and you slice it really thin is that how you did it
Pop those veggies into a mini processer or bullet. And that way you can make extras for the freezer too. I make chicken & pork egg rolls and I add 2Tbs of creamy peanut butter.
That great value sirloin Philly steak I get it from Walmart they don't have it all the time but when they do I buy a few boxes best thing you ever want to use for making steak sandwiches absolutely great

Hi Tabitha!. I was born and raised in Baltimore, West Baltimore... I lived there until I was 22 then I moved to Seattle WA. Thank you for coming by. I hope you subscribed to our growing family! sharron
Hi. Thanks for the recipe. At about 16:48 (your second egg roll) it looks like you have two wrappers. Is that on purpose. Asking because I have never gotten my air fryer egg rolls to look like yours; so delicious and uniformly crispy.
I live in green bay and they have 2 walmarts 1 cells them in 1 dozen and the 1 that sells them they get them on the shelf and they're gone right away so when I see them I buy every box I can get put them in the freezer they are absolutely absolutely great steaks for breakfast and steaks Sandwiches I have not done like she made them but you can be I will be doing so
Here are the directions written out if you would like the recipe to print. **Ingredients:** - 4 Philly steak patties - 1 green bell pepper - 1 red bell pepper - 1 onion - Black pepper - onion powder - Mince garlic (1 teaspoon) - 1 egg - 2 tablespoons of water - Accent seasoning - Johnny’s seasoning salt - Egg roll wrappers - sharp cheddar and low moisture part skim mozzarella Cheese (for filling ) - Olive oil spray **Instructions:** 1. **Preparation:** - Dice green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion into small pieces. 2. **Cooking the Filling:** - Place Philly steak patties in a skillet over medium/high heat. - Sprinkle black pepper and onion powder on one side, flip after browning, and repeat on the other side. - Chop up the meat and add 3/4 of the diced onions and peppers. - Stir, mix, and add a teaspoon of minced garlic. Cook until veggies are tender and meat is cooked through (about 5-6 minutes). - Season with accent, Johnny’s seasoning salt, and additional onion pepper to taste. - Taste-test and adjust seasoning if necessary. 3. **Preparing Egg Rolls:** - Make an egg wash by beating one egg with 2 tablespoons of water. - Place an egg roll wrapper on a plate, add a little cheese in the middle, place filling on top, and add more cheese. - Use a basting brush to wet the sides of the wrapper for a good seal. - Fold right-hand corner to the center, then left-hand corner to the center, pressing edges to seal. - Roll the egg roll and stick the last corner to the center, wetting under the flap if needed. - Repeat until all rolls are made. 4. **Air Frying:** - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 6 minutes. - Brush egg wash on both sides of the egg rolls. - Spray the basket with olive oil. - Place 4 egg rolls in the basket seam side down, spray with olive oil, and cook at 375°F for 4 minutes on each side (a total of 8 minutes). - Flip one last time without spraying and cook at 400°F for 2 minutes. - Remove and let rest while you cook the remaining three egg rolls using the same process. 5. **Mukbang Sauce:** - Mix baby rays secret sauce, Cayenne powder, and basil to taste in a small side bowl for a dipping sauce. 6. **Enjoy your delicious Philly Steak Egg Rolls!**
Hi there, I haven't tried this recipe in the oven, But I am sure it will come out fine. The Air fryer is a lil mini oven in my opinion.. thanks for watching!
Hi..I used Great Value brand-Sirloin seasoned Philly Steaks..they were located in the frozen section along with the frozen hamburgers and frozen bagged chicken. Thanks for watching!
Great recipe, but please, PLEASE refine your knifework a bit! I was actually afraid to watch you cut things because fingertips probably don't tend to add a good flavor to anything. Please be more careful & maybe watch some knife safety videos! But thanks for a nice AF recipe!
It blows my mind that people still think fat is the issue. Vegetable oils are bad but tallow, lard, duck and chicken fat is the best food you can eat. The real issue the grain and sugar filled egg roll.
Why don’t you roll with the way you lay the meat/insides of the egg roll? You’re going opposite, which just makes it harder and messier. Also makes them “fatter” as you said, instead of the typical egg roll.
@@SharronDenise Not trying to be rude, just a suggestion/pointer! I work at a Japanese restaurant and we do these (as well as spring rolls) allll the time. 😊
I really don't think Heather was being rude. It seems as if she was giving constructive criticism. We're all trying to get this right. I love the recipe by the way and Thank you for sharing this with us! 😘
