@@averagedickmoney310 Ah, fair; I was giving the worst case situation (hence "*potentially* fatal" and "*tends to* involve") - based on law of averages, i'm sure there are lots of people who aren't as much as risk inherently. I have both Celiacs and Lactose Intolerance that present in the more worse extreme, after all, compared to people I directly know with either/both. That being said, do be careful; I've been advised many times that they can get worse with age and/or you can effectively "break down your tolerance" by pushing you luck eating things you're allergic to.

This reminds me about what my dad did in the past. He used to mix allergic foods in my meal without my consent. If I don't have any allergic anymore, He will say I can finally eat those allergic foods which I have no intention to do so. Even though, there is a prove that I did allergy test as a kid and got sent into hospital for that. I still have a fear that I will be dead, because of strong allergic reaction. It makes other people's life around me harder and they have to worry about me.

Cause she should know better than to continue to cook while injured and not get it looked at. She risks hurting herself MORE cause if her hand is burnt, then she could drop the pan and cause MORE damage to herself and others, as well as slow the team down. She, as a chef, should know to have someone step in, run to the medic, apply some cold water and burn cream, and THEN return to tough it out on the line.

He's the maitre d. He has handled a lot of bad situations inside the kitchen to make sure food that goes out is good. In season 4 I think, one if these times, he asked waiters to push the meat entree amongst the people because one of the chefs was screwing up fish constantly. Pretty interesting.

One of the biggest rules of cooking is NEVER MIX THE MEATS. Raw beef and chicken together are a breeding ground for cross-contamination and cooking them togother mixes theirr flavors which is worse than it sound.

He’s not just passionate about food. He’s quite literally a disciplinary guy. He trained in martial arts and has a razor wit. It’s funny to think deep down he actually has a sensitive side. The servers have to do something besides waiting around for the food to show up. The customers were already doing that, so JP had to find a way to keep the wait staff busy so there's a sense that something IS going on in the kitchen.

That salmon and scallops in same pan is no little mistake! Seafood allergies are often anaphylactic (death in minutes!). Assisting Dr. in ER, removing lobster from choking victim's airway and HE broke out in hives and having respiratory difficulties! Never touched it! I gave him three injections while he continued to work on patient. Crazy but true!
