I actually think Meese was set up for failure on this one. First you have Amanda screwing up all the times which causes Meese to hold. Second then Kristen says don’t serve it if you’re not sure. Third knowing that if she brings it up screwed up Ramsay will rip her a knee one. So I can see how there’s is reasonable doubt in Meese’s head that she screwed it up.

What you have to keep in mind is that the contestants are intentionally chosen for being incompetent screw ups so that Ramsay has grounds to yell at them. As Ramsay himself once said, "If the cooks were actually qualified, everything would run like a well oiled machine and I'd just be standing there handing out plates at the pass with nothing to criticize. There's no drama in that." There you go. If you got selected as a contestant on this show, you have been given the worst possible assessment possible -- you have been certified as an idiot.
