Can I just say that I really appreciate this lady respecting the traditional components of the quintessential adobo flavour while creating something new and exciting with it AND to top it off, serve it to one of the best chefs in our time. Thank you for representing the Philippines with your food, mabuhay!
Though Asian foods - Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, and Vietnamese - are "exotic" among Westerners, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that Filipino dishes are slowly becoming a hit in foreign lands - and I don't mean balut, either.
It's pork freakin adobo! Now I'm drooling, and I love the fact how Gordon loves pandesal and he knows about it, he truly knows about Filipino cuisine :)
One of his old interviews, he once said, that he had a filipina nanny, that cooked for him... And he loved everything she cooks, but she was his nanny, for just a few months... Because of immigration problems...
There was a filipino guy who recently was in the Masterchef, I think his name was Ralph? or something, he cooked a few filipino food but had a little american touch..
Can someone from good morning america make gordon ramsay visit the philippines. I'm freakin right now because of how gordon ramsay loved our food!!! 🇵🇭💯🏆
Angel's Burger is Philipine's best burger though.. first bite, all bun.. 2nd bite, little bit of catsup, 3rd bite, patty!!! Yey Edit: salamat sa inyong mga naglike ng comment. Na promote na po ako sa Angel's Burger.. Manager na po ako.. 😆😆😆

Just you wait westerners! Filipino food here we come! Forget about hotpots, forget about shabu shabu, forget about those unlimited samgyupsals, cause we're bringing boodle fights right at your tables. 😂💪🔥
@@morelucktv4955 Come on dude, we're talking about our culinary history here. Philippines represent! Go for boodle fights, I'm sick of those unlimited samgyupsals joints that pop out of malls and resto's. I'm just proud that filipino food is becoming a staple in some states in america, specially in california.

This is the difference between Filipinos and White Left SnowFlakes. Filipinos love it when foreigners appreciate our culture. White Left SnowFlakes have a mental breakdown about "cultural appropriation".
We've been looked down upon all the time so I don't blame fellow Filipino to react like that whenever we are acknowledged, they call it Filipino Pride, I call it vindication...
In US adobo is seasoning but in Philippine is a food dish that ingredients it soy sauce, vinegar, bayleaves, blackpepper, onion garlic. This dish is so delicious and the ingredients is so common anyone can cook it
wla naman, nakakairita din yung mag tatype para maghanap na magsasabing merong korning magsasalita ng proud pinoy kagaya mo wala kayong pinagkaiba hahaha
To think a world class celebrity chef would like such a simple recipe from the Philippines. The magic of adobo... Vinegar, Soysauce and some minced garlic. Perfect pag wala kayong ref. Muah! Delicioso
the other guy answered gordon wrong. you don't say because it's a cook off especially to a chef that asked why double? you have to explain the ingredients. not just because you are in competition. you are asked by a michelin star chef, you don't answer him with "special sauce". thats for him to decide. he is not some guy who just happens to like food, he is a freaking *CHEF* . the girl explained her recipe well.
