I would love them to do this in reverse where the normals are controlling the chefs, but the chefs can't talk unless spoken to. Meaning if the voice their opion of a normals decision they have to do a penalty. Something like jumping Jack's or push up or something along that lines

Could be a nice badge idea (if they're still doing that even) where Ben is controlled by each of the normals making their own dishes. And then Ben decides who was the best at giving instruction + best vision + best execution. Not sure what the badge would be though.

Idea for a battle Tinned ingredients. But the lables on the tins are removed. You have to use any tin you opened. And since it's tins, 0 food waste as a goal. Could also be a very entertaining pass it on

Idea for a different budget battle; send the normals to the market on their own without telling them anything. Then give them a budget and a time limit to buy their own ingredients and to think about their dishes on the spot. Would be nice to see how their creativity and planning have progressed in the years.

Next: Combine all your games. Bring James back for an episode, have Poppy again. Each normal gets a chef. The normals do a budget-battle Pass it On with 20 minutes each, being controlled by a chef. Order is based on how each of the normals scored themselves on the previous Pass it On, lowest to highest.

It's an average, so we know that Barry gave them a four. Jamie and Poppy put together a more cohesive dish and had way better teamwork in the kitchen, with Jamie actually contributing and providing active feedback. And that chaotic fuzzy energy we got from them working together, unbeatable.

I think this video shows how big of a role visual demonstration has when performing a task. Audible instructions can either be quick and concise to convey tasks at speed which is required in some situations or they can be more detailed and elaborate to provide the receiver with as much clarity about the process they’ve been asked to perform, much like a recipe often does. But the biggest issue with communication so often is that it can be misinterpreted or if travelling along a large chain of bureaucracy can change from the original message which leads to errors and misunderstandings and the childhood game Chinese whispers shows how easy communication can go wrong

we always enjoy poppy coming in, she fits so well with the gang. both dishes look interesting since yall tasted them and they were both enjoyed i think i'd leave the score as is because ebbers and baz's dish just seemed more rounded and the task of keeping baz on track was pretty successful. that in itself was worth the winning point.

Lovely to see kidneys used and that dish appealed to me more than the marrow one. Poppy and Jamie were more fun to watch as they have similar senses of humour. I think I learned more about cooking from Ben though and Barry was just Barry, can concentrate for only so long and then gets distracted! I was unsure whether I would enjoy the video at the start but I stuck with it and really did so thanks Sorted team.

Kidneys seem to be really unpopular nowadays! When I was a kid in the 80’s, we used to have kidneys all the time! My favourites were a beef and kidney stew my mum used to make, and when the kidneys were fried and served with a full English!! Supremely delicious!!

Poppy and Jamie won. Definitely a dish I would like to try, and I like the plating MUCH more. Furthermore, unclear instruction from Ben and Barry not following instructions. Ben clearly said to horizontally slice the kidneys...Barry sliced them vertically, which is what Ben actually wanted. Overall, not a fan at all of this new scoring system. The only reason Barry and Ben "won" is because Barry's score was obviously terribly low. Either make it a poll for us to choose, or have a neutral third party like it always used to be. I get trying something new, but this isn't good IMO.

What? It just depends which way you are holding the kidneys on the board. If they are flat, you’d cut them horizontally which is probably what Ben would do. If you upright them, you’d cut them vertically, which is what Barry did, likely so he could see what he was doing better. Same outcome.
