@@natpat4094 Nope neither Wales Scotland or Ireland are "British" they were RULED by Brits at some point, Wales form the 17th C, Scotland and Ireland much earlier. Their English NOT British
@@thespliff1 No theyre british but not english. Only people from England are english but Scotland is part of Great Britain. Thats a 10 second google search to discover the difference.
Not only that, he contradicted himself when he said 'i hate idiots LLOL 🤣🤣🤣 And so being delusional believing hes a god when he was really an idiot was destined to fail until he saw the light haha
Uhm, that's the exact opposite of the takeaway here. This is an American show, made for an American audience. Americans like drama. What you see on the camera is construed in such a way it shows the worst of him already.
I agree with the comments around mental health - Gordon has always been attuned to that but I also think it’s professional curtesy as this guy had a similar rise up the career ladder as Gordon.
*Camera man actively in his kitchen and dining area for 2 days, recording his wife and waiter for an interview, recording the customers* chef: seems about fine. *Ramsay walks in* chef: what the fucks he doing here.
Its ALL show, fake, scripted to amuse the viewers. If you view the shows it is all the same red thread going through them. An arrogant selfish douchebag getting turned into a normal guy after. I like it and I know it is far away fom reality. I like Ramsey swear and freak out :-) What the F... dont take TV serious.
The show aired in 2010. This is actually one of the few restaurants on the show that are still open in 2022, with the original owners. So initially a lot of denial, but the guy certainly can cook.
He can certainly cook but wouldnt be able to work for anyone (like myself). Way she goes sometimes. If this show comes back you wont see GR facing off against good chefs like that guy again. Stick to mom and pop diners
I love how they always act like they werent the one calling chef ramsey for help. Treating him like a bully who just walked in the restaurant and trashes them for no reason
dude, andy is such a narcissist, you can see it from a mile away. he's dismissive, gaslights gordon and his guests, makes every little negative comment into a huge thing... he needs therapy fr
@@narcleptik my bakery is still open and my wife's boss is a narc .. but it could work much better without her ngl , tho she's a worker , she has bad aura that everyone feels is cold..
‘People are really dumb sometimes and they think with their arse instead of their brain’ BRUHH THATS YOUR WIFE?? I’m sorry but that’s genuinely such a mad thing to say about someone you’re MARRIED to, she deserves so much better
Imagine how shocked they must've been seeing Gordon walk through the door and order some take away just to come back, pick it up and leave, never to be seen again 😂I'd be shitting my pants
I was thinking maybe the meeting was on a boat, so when he was confronted by the customers, there was nowhere for him to run away to unless he jumped off the boat.
Weak people confuse strong defense and that a being can be powerfull and defend themself to the max with - "mental abuse" because they defend themself and are powerfull... Funny, but i guess always weak people feel they are mentaly abused when they are weaker, or weak people feel physically abused in boxing matches when they meet a strong and skilled boxer. Sad. Tho sometimes he can be rude, but to conflate that in pshycology with mental abuse, rofl. Go hide in youre shell then. Then Gordon Ramsay have mentally abused him even worse with his comments. Also anyone who would have any experince in health should have had already realized he has mental health conditions that leans to depression, so his defensiveness is just that a survival mechanism and you attack him for it?. Its obvious he is broken, who knows what people have done to him in his private life and his wife. But hey not even that - try to work in the chief industry for 30 years in the kitchen supporting for youre family everyday in and out. Hey throw in that "wife in 30 years and she supports for him everyday in and out and you will find out really quickly if she gets burn out and not". And see if you get worn out and looses joy in life... I guess its the weak snowflakes under 26 years that think the way you do, you must be a girl under 25. Sad. Dont bother responding i dont use YT notifications ever.
2:57 - "If this restaurant closes, the last thing I want to do is go work for some idiot somewhere else. I hate idiots." Well, now you know what you're putting your staff through.
Man, Gordon is so right he has everything a good restaurant, family bussiness in a spectacular area and a beautiful wife yet he is throwing it all away!
I like how that in every episode of this show that I have seen, be it UK or US, it take about 5 minutes for them to show you EXACTLY where the problem is.
What I don't understand about this Kitchen Nightmare series is, why are the owners so shocked when they invite a world renowned chef and food critic to their restaurant and he actually criticizes their food? Isn't that literally what they wanted by signing up to be on the show???!
I love it when gordon said to andy about andy’s mistreatment to his wife. Gordon probably feel like it so close to him bcs his dad were abusive towards him and his mom. And gordon was right when he said “if u dont respect her, how u get ppl working for u” something like that he said
Idk what she saw in this guy in the first place. The first few scenes really shows his toxic behaviour. And like Gordon said, its like as if Andy is in a deluded competition with him and the people around him ☠ Edit: However, I love the change that was made in his character devlopment and the fact that their restaurant is operational and successful to this day. Especially since in some other episodes there have been owners that have returned to their old horrible ways and being downright ungrateful for the change Gordon helped them achieve. Wishing all success to Andy, his wife and family, as well his business ❤🙏
I'm glad the owner was able to change for good and keep it up! Kudos to him. God was he annoying as hell in the beginning. So glad Gordon could get through to him.
It's so sad watching this guy. He clearly knows how to cook and he knows it but he also knows how much of a failure he is. He probably can make an awesome dinner for the family but that's not good enough for a restaurant. He is a good, knowledgeable cook who cannot reconcile with the fact his restaurant is failing.
To his wife: that man is probably a Narcisist. This is not a joke. It can destroy someone's life. She should seek therapy for Narcisist abuse recovery and get her life back. My prayers for her.
@mohammedAli-yn4ro the fact that they are still together is not incompatible with what l said. People can be in abusive relationships for decades. It takes as long as the other person needs to get out of there.
@@miriamizquierdo4354 listen we can't comment on their relationship. For all we know maybe him being like that was because of all the stress he was accumulating. He's probably a different guy outside the kitchen.
Gordon's patience never fails to amaze me in every episode of kitchen nightmares. This man takes so much BS from wannabes like that guy !! I wouldnt be able to tolerate that behaviour.
I’m sure the thumbnail is wrong. I’m sure the picture was from the Lido di Manhattan episode, and I think that dish was the Tuna Tower, and that had nothing to do with Le Bistro. Please correct me if I’m wrong though.
It's insane that a world class chef comes to help his restaurant and he writes off every critique as slander and meanie words. Maybe trust the opinions of the person who is there to help
it was easy to see what the problem was from 3 minutes and it continued until 30 minutes. Andy was so far up himself. refusing to accept the problem was the way he was acting. as well as the food was not what the people in the area wanted. I could not see why his wife stayed with him the way she was being treated
Andy: i don’t know why my restaurant isn’t doing well Gordon Ramsay: - reasons why the restaurant isn’t doing well - Andy: so you’re trying to bully me !
Who said money can't buy happiness.. Every episode of kitchen nightmare and hotel hell, these guys are so happy with new stuff and overhaul.. Irrespective of whether they genuinely give a crap or not..
chef andy is a good chef, he's just have a hard as rock heart, as a result, he didnt make food with passion and love, he just makes them as hard like his heart
It's sad to see that most problems with chefs in America, are not because of them cooking bad food, but because of their egos being too big to see that they are making bad food.
