"past 3 films mani rathnamku floppu. Nayakan god father copyenga" - myshkin . kaithattalam thapilla... There is no content with Mani rathnam. Either from old epics (Thalapathy, Raavanan...) or else from real life accidents/incidents (Bombay, Kannathil muthamittal, Alaipayuthey...) or from books (Kaatru veliyidai ) or from other movies (Nayagan - god father, New world - CCV)... OK Kanmani content wise aracha maavu. Fck M.Rathnam. Producer A M Rathnam is better than Director Mani Rathnam.

VM is person who knows how to manage is talent and get maximum out of it. In talent and geniousness I rate Kanadasan and Vali ahead of VM, but in managing the talent and wealth I rate VM ahead of other other two. Even here while pointing a well picuturised song, he inteligently selected one from Bharathiraja and one from balanchander also, to show his balancing act.
