@@BC999 pre 2015 system was entirely different.. their function was to suggest 5-10 scenarios for the director. Director would say.. Inga oru fight.. or thangachi ah paaka ponum.. writer designs a setup, characters that will be involved and dialogs.. director okays and shoots. Balakumaran himself says.. page la sappaya irukkum but director seriya sedhikkirupparu nu

@@arunmohanan4328 Mani Ratnam came to IR in 1982; wanted ONLY ILAYARAJA to compose for his first movie Pallavi Anupallavi in Kannada. IR was MAGNANIMOUS enough to compose for just 20% of his remuneration when MR said he could not afford. His second movie UNARU was composed at FREE of cost by IR. Now who is the "egoistic maniac" here?!

2 celebrities resting pretty and heavily on their past laurels! Anyway, 15:12 MR should feel happy that his Naayagan got at least a 60/100 in the 1987 Vikatan movie review lavishly praising MR! But Maestro ILAYARAJA for his grand album (Songs + Background Score) was not even given 01/100 and the stupid reviewers MOCKED at Ilayaraja and his music saying "400th movie it seems! His music dimmed in the presence of the 'rich' making" (whatever that meant!). I don't know why people creating over Hype for maniratnam ??? மணிரத்தினம் படங்கள் எடுப்பதை நிறுத்தி விடலாம் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்...அவர் தொடர்ச்சியாக எடுத்த அனைத்து படங்களும் தோல்வியை சந்தித்தன..கடல், காற்று வெளியிடை,ஓ காதல் கண்மணி,செக்கச் சிவந்த வானம் இதில் எதுவுமே பேர் சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு ஓடவில்லை அதுபோல படங்களும் சரியில்லை..இந்த வரிசையில் இப்போது பொன்னியின் செல்வன் சேர்ந்து இருக்கிறது இதனால் இவர் எதுக்கு படங்கள் எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் நினைக்கிறேன்..இவர் இருக்கும் பேர் புகழ் மரியாதை உடன் அப்படியே இருந்து விடலாம்...எனவே இவர் படங்கள் எடுப்பதை நிறுத்தினால் நன்றாக இருக்கும்..
