Red Rib Stitch Scarf
Materials: 1 skein (10.5 oz, 300 g) of Bernat Velvet 100% polyester yarn (Cabernet shade), US needles size 8 knitting needles, scissors, tape measure or ruler.
Cast on 28 stitches. Then do K1, P1 rib in each row until work measures 5 ft (60 inches) or desired length. Then do regular bind off (or can bind off in pattern). Finished scarf measurements for red scarf in video: 7 inches width x 60 inches length.
Gray Turkish Stitch Scarf
Materials: 1 skein (10.5 oz, 300 g) of Bernat Velvet 100% polyester yarn (Vapor gray shade), US needles size 10 knitting needles, scissors, tape measure or ruler.
Cast on 26 stitches. Then do Turkish stitch as follows:
Row: K1, *YF, SKP. Repeat from * until last stitch, then K1.
Repeat this row until work measures 5 ft (60 inches) or desired length. Then do regular bind off. Finished scarf measurements for red scarf in video: 8 inches width x 60 inches length.
Optional for noth scarfs: add tassles (at least 3 inches long) on each end of scarf (using a crochet hook, US size G or larger)
