SJB's Cher speaking voice really improved by the time this got to Broadway! Not that this was bad in any way, but she just really had the tone and special quirks down later on, it was awersome.
Holy crap this cast was amazing. The three Chers are bloody brilliant as is everyone else. Jaw on floor. Wonder how long a break they needed to recover when they left before they did the next project? WOW

I'm pretty sure I read or heard somewhere that Chaz didn't want to be mentioned. I recall that when I saw it on broadway his name wasn't used, Chastity was.It's not that they don't stand for Trans Rights.. It's that Chaz did not want to be mentioned and that is his choice.

Thank you so much for posting! I used to live on NY and wish I could've seen it on Broadway but, unfortunately, due to covid-19 they shut the show down. I'm so grateful for this version in Chicago! ❤
This version is SO flat, it's wild they pulled the broadway version out of this. The broadway rewrite had so much energy and a much better flow to it, not to mention SJB's voice is DEAD ON in the broadway version.
I saw it in Chicago and loved it. Did it have a ton of changes before New York? I noticed the cast recording doesn't have "After All?" Which is of course my favorite
