OMG...these are two of the greatest musical performers of my (all) time. I love them, used to watch them on t.v. and had the privilege of seeing Cher solo in Winnipeg. Keep up the great work Cher and RIP Sonny. You two were the best!
There is no words in human language to say how SPACE cool is CHER!! Dressed to kill and sing to kill! She is a real vamp!! Such a style in CHER!!! This is ULTRA!!!! COOL!
Of course this is a great idea, celebrating the man who is largely responsible for her being discovered by mass audiences in the 60's and 70's. Sonny knew how to market this incredible talent, and maximize their collective impact on the business. The early record deals were the result of his connections and negociations, as were the concerts and the first television series. Matter of fact, Sonny Bono wrote both these songs. Now of course without Cher we would never have heard of Sonny. He wrote one song that he performed that peaked at #10. Bono introduced the song 'Laugh At Me', in concert by saying "I'd like to sing a medley of my hit". Sonny made a better business manager than husband, despite his practice. He was married four times.
