I can't stand Steve Lukather! I have a guitarist virtuoso friend named Chuck Flanagan and it was Chuck who auditioned his instrumental for Don Henley's song " Dirty Laundry". Chuck didn't get any credit or something for his creation! Chuck got ripped off..I say! In the early 1990's, there was baseball game where Joe Walsh of the band " The Eagles" singing the star spangled banner and later Chuck Flanagan played his psychedelic version of " Take Me Out to the Ball Game". Chuck is on RU-vid.. Omni Speaker Cabinets for the electric guitar...I feel Chuck should get recognition for his great guitar work......
Cherie went from the Runaways to this? If Joan Jett and Lita Ford could find success as solo artists, surely Cherie could have done the same. What a waste of talent!
Cherie didn't want to do this but she was forced to. it's in her book Neon Angel. it's also how record execs killed off talent back them. she was also addicted to quaaludes and cocaine which did not help her career as well. she spiraled after Foxes.
She was really messed up around this time and needed the work. She was also still contracted by the record company to finish an album. I think Kim Fowley may have helped the two make this final album.
LKx979 It’s not one of the worst albums of all time, not even close. For what it is it’s a well made and well produced pop rock album only let down by a couple of weak songs. Messin with the boys is better but not by as much as you’re making out
