Jessica “Jessi” McEver (Cherokee Nation) is an independent film producer, impact strategist
and publicist with a history of working closely with Native American filmmakers, tribes, studios
and changemakers in Hollywood. She is focused on building power for Native American
communities through inclusive representation on and off screen, challenging existing systems
as well as building pathways and loving spaces for the next generation of Native creatives. She
is a mother of two, fierce souls, pun enthusiast, and an eternal optimist.

While the filmmaking industry is changing and DEI efforts in Hollywood are constrained, Native
