This is a moist and a tasty Cherry Cake with a touch of Almonds.

Ingredients:
400g Sweet Cherries- Keep 10-12 aside for garnishing
15-20g Sliced Almonds for garnishing
1/2 Cup (113g) Butter- Room temperature soften
1 1/2 Cup (180g) Flour
3/4 Cup (150g) Sugar
2 Large Eggs yolks
2 Large Egg whites- Beaten until stiff peaks
1/3 (80g) Milk- In the recipe I am using whole/full-fat milk. You can use any type if milk as prefer..
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Almond Extract
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Corn Starch
Preparations:
*Cut half of cherries in to quarters and other half of cherries in to two; this will give you slightly big and small pieces without all pieces been uniformed
*Prepare the baking pan with a parchment on the bottom and buttered even the sides
*Corn starch is added to Cherries to thicken the Cherry juice to handle it easier for the cake
*After the first 15 minutes of baking, when the cake is risen take out of the oven and add cherries on top..
9 inch pan, I am using a springform pan in the video, You can use a regular pan as well..
Bake in 350F for 40-50 minutes, until top of the cake is golden brown or skewer inserted in the middle come out clean.
