I made my first dump cake a couple of months ago. My daughter hates cherries and pineapples, so, I used Apple Pie Filling and 8 ounces of Apple Sauce to replace the pineapples. I softened the butter at room temperature and then blended it with the yellow cake mix and sprinkled it on top. I them sprinkled the top with cinnamon and sugar! Whipped topping on top!!!!!!!!!! I also make Dump Cake! After adding cake mix over the chosen fruits, I sprinkle chopped pecans across cake mix then the butter pats. Either way this is so delicious. Love you and your channel!!

I love watching your videos but have to say. Where do you find the time to do it all? I sit down at night to watch and fall asleep due to being exhausted . I'm going to watch all of them after canning season is done. Love you sweet lady.
Well...... sometimes other things get pushed aside so that I get a video made and uploaded. The farm work is just part of my life, along with chores so I film what I'm doing. To be honest, at night when I set down to watch a video and unwind, I usually don't make it through the video before I'm asleep. I need to crochet my little grandson some baby blankets but same problem I fall asleep. He will be here in December so I think after the big push of garden season I might be able to get to work on them.

It's cooled a little here and we got rain! A nice shower on Friday evening followed by a shower on Saturday. We are expecting a little cooler weather next week. Still hot but not like it has been.
One of the best dump cakes i have had is made with the cherry pie filling and apple pie filling mixed together. Its wonderful ! I also put alittle cinnamon on top .

I love making dump cakes. I think the blueberry is my favorite. Nice piece of nostalgia hearing about your poke cake memory. I grew up with them as well, and still make them today. My family's favorite is the lemon lime combination. Wishing you a lovely night. :)
I can apples and make a pie filling with them . But in a bowl I melt the butter, put in the cake mix and add cinnamon, squish it together and drop on top of pie filling and bake. It gives it a crunch.
Have you ever tried a Paula Deen Butter Cake? She does different variations, the other day she did one with fresh peaches 🍑(made with box cake) The cake makes a bottom crust with your favorite fruit topping.
My boys would make this in a Dutch oven on scout camping trips. They would make apple, peach, and cherry like you. It was always a big hit with the scouts. Thanks for sharing!

I've never tried it with angel food cake. I looked for a recipe using angel food cake and they make them but it looks like they put the pie filling in the bottom, mix a can of pineapple with juice into the cake mix and pour over pie filling and bake. It is more cakey than my recipe which is kinda cobbler like.
This is one of the worst things anyone who is overweight/obese should eat. Don't you know you're destroying your health? You are morbidly obese and yet you are promoting others to become obese and ruin their health. Shame on you!
