Recently a post about a Chery Omoda 5 with a broken rear axle went viral in Malaysia. Does this affect the Omoda E5 EV? Let’s take a closer look. #chery #omoda5 #omodae5 #everyone Learn more: soyacincau.com...
No thank you. The problem is not the design of the torsion beam or multi link setup. Many car brands using the same setup for suspension, but the inconsistency of the build quality and subpar materials that being used. Should avoid this car/brand at all cost.
@@lhctrekker last I checked non of the non china brand using the same chassis or shared the same assembly line. I’m not sure whether you are “special” or just in denial.
@@IvanMorningstar parts from China supply the entire industry, dozens of companies share the same supply chain. basically you saying vivo's snapdragon is non reliable ,while Samsung one is trustworthy.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WELDING PROBLEM AND QUALITY CONTROL BRUH. Does it matter multilink or torsion beam? Are you high on something or u just want to ride the viral wave putting up this kind of video MEH
@@soyacincautv E5 or not, you as a tech media should be giving heads up to that person they might facing the same QC issue seeing those car probably made from the same factory
@@clementyeo2601 It is presumptuous to assume all vehicles are having the same issue. We have to be factual. BTW, the Omoda E5 is CBU while the Omoda 5 is now locally assembled.
bro, this is people's life at stake leh (imagine if driving at highway and the axle patah), even torsion beam is not suppose to just patah like that 1 how confident are you in saying that the multi-link's axle won't just snap also
Ok lah, like this...we didn't say it is better. We didn't say it wouldn't snap. We just say it is different. I totally agree with you. Torsion beam (or any suspension/chassis part) not supposed to patah. In fact, it should outlast the car. But again, this video is to point out that the EV variant is using a different suspension setup. That's about it.
@@SyefriZulkefliMY agreed. Nowhere in the video says that multi-link axle wont break or better or sewaktu dengannya. This video just shows that the difference in suspension setup, thats it.
It’s all about brand image which is closely linked to the quality and reputation of its after sales service. Judging from how they handled the matter…no thank you.
Chery Omanda is doing well in Australia, Russia, Africa, and other places. Only in Malaysia are there issues because Malaysia has a Chery assembly plant where all parts are welded and assembled. Therefore, the Malaysian Chery division should take responsibility. Chery cars in Australia, Russia, and other places are all directly imported from China, and there have been no issues like axle fractures. Especially in Africa and Russia, where there have been no problems for several years. So, Chery in China shouldn't be blamed for this. Malaysia should acknowledge its own production accidents, and the world should know about it. Malaysia owes China an apology.
it is not about same suspension or not. It is about the lack of quality and poor quality delivered to customer. To be honest, Chery have a lot to do to win back customer trust. This is not a small problem like Proton power window previously. This is a BIG issue that could have cause life!! I suggest you take down the video because I think you guys are making a fool of yourself.
