Hi Chris, Thanks again for watching. I know you have to be very careful, the sea can be unforgiving. Fished again on Saturday, and it was even bigger. Thanks again, and all the best. 👍🎣
Loving your videos, and can I thankyou for looking after the fish you catch I have had to unsubscribe from a few bloggers because of ill treatment to their catch. Used to fish that area when I was in the Navy loved it down there although I fish the Holdeness coast now Hornsea area.
Hi Dave, thanks for watching it's much appreciated 🙏. I always try and look after the fish and make sure they are returned if they are not big enough for the table. i've fished up on the Holderness Coast a few times in the dreaded EOBC. Might give it another go next year. I'm not sure yet. Thanks again, bud, and all the best 🎣 👍
Hi mate. Thanks for watching and the kind comment, much appreciated 🙏 The wind was building during the day to around 25 miles an hour it was around 1.5m swell. Fished again yesterday and had to call it a day around 5pm. The wind got up to 30+ and a 2m swell. We struggled to keep the lines out. Normally, I wouldn't bother with a swell over 1.5 but we were determined to catch a cod. Unfortunately it didn't happen but better luck next time 😂 all the best and tight lines 🎣👍
@themuddypuddleangler653 I have before, and I know that people do sleep down there, but this was before they put in the parking meters. I'm not sure how that will work with the parking fees as there are now number plate cameras. Hope that helps bud 👍
Hi Andy, Thanks for watching much appreciated 🙏. That's a tough one as they are completely different, but both are excellent rods in there own right. The zippys are a fantastic all round rod and very forgiving when casting with really good bite detection. I would not swap them for anything. I bought the zulcron rods for heavier work, like down on the Bristol Channel. I've only used them at Chesil, so I haven't really put them to a proper test yet, but from what I've seen they are also right up there. They are a lot stiffer, but they do cast really well and it doesn't fell like yr casting a scaffold pole😂. Bite detection is very good even the small bream were registering. It's hard to choose between the 2. But the Zulcron from a price and all round versatility point might just edge it. But you can't beat a ziplezz. Hope that helps mate. 👍🎣
