After 3 fantastic sessions on the mighty Chesil Beach, we did not think it could get any better. We were wrong and the gamble paid off. Once again over 10 different species of fish were caught on a great fishing trip!!!!
Hi Mate. Thanks for watching and for the comment. Hopefully it will continue till at least December 🤞Dungie used to be really good not so now, but you never know the good times may come back again. All the best 👍👍

Hi chippie you ok fella , thanks for the watch again. Red letter day for all of you, you can't beat that can you. Good job you went. I'm still waiting for my first one of this winter lol. All the best from GRIMSBY.
Hi Kerry thanks again for watching and for commenting 🙏 This happened around 6 years ago not quite the same numbers but plenty of codling. The next year the fish were around the 5 to 8lb mark so fingers crossed and I'm sure it will happen again. Thanks again 👍🎣
Cod from the shore on Cape Cod in the winter has been the dream of many local anglers. Sadly, no one ever seems to catch one - all fished out of our waters.
Hi Jon wow that's incredible I always thought you had one of the best fishing spots around. Cod do move in cycles just the same as here. Thanks for getting in touch and hope it improves tight lines bud 👍🎣
@@fishandchippies7781 Striped bass and bluefish, yes. Cod, no. And now we have a population explosion of seals taking hooked fish off of lines before they can be landed. And great white sharks in for the seals.
Oh man. 😲You are on fire.🔥 The wizard.🧙♂️ Looks like you have conquered the mighty Chesil.🎉 So so chuffed for you all.👏👏😀😀 Long may it continue.🤞🙏 Thank you so much for sharing.👏👏 Nice mixed bag and those mullet are stunning.😲😲 Roll on the next video.🫣 Take care and stay safe.😷🙊

Hi mate good yo hear from you and hope Yr well. Good luck for today hopefully the conditions are kind. I try to keep Aron updated so it's great to hear he is passing it on.Thanks again for watching 🙏 Tight lines mate 🎣 👍
Hi Ray thanks mate as always. Managed to get them from Gerrys of Morecombe. Used them a few times now very comfortable and light weight but still get a little damp inside when you get hot. So not as breathable as they say. Hope that helps mate. Tight lines 🎣 👍
Hi John thanks for watching. The Gamble was the weather forecast, all the reports were giving strong winds and a big sea that could have made it unfishable. So making the 2hr journey and paying for all the bait was a bit of a gamble wouldn't you say? thankfully for us it paid off. The waders are for 2 reasons firstly we have to wade out to retrieve our boat to row across the fleet to the mark. secondly if any decent fish had been caught in those wave conditions, which were above waist height then the waders are definitely a must. Hope that helps 👍
@@fishandchippies7781 cheers , yes ive done 2hr drives before only do find the forecast was wrong, didnt know you needed a boat, thought you just walked the beach, and no matter how big the fish, i would never want anyone to touch it before i had it on the beach and safe

Hi Mick thanks for the comment. We don't get sessions like that very often so when they do come along we make the most of them. Also we keep all the fish that's the whole point. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you caught the fish yr eating. We do also return a lot of fish. Can I ask do you say the same thing to the trawler fishermen?
Hi Polly, thanks for you comment. UK minimum size is 8inches/200mm. The smallest of the two Red Mullet featured in the Fish&Chippies video was 11.5inches/279mm. Kind regards.Sam
