Nelson chess: You have to move your queen every 2 moves and while that you can't move your queen

If it gets captured, nothing changes except the piece leaving the board. If you can't move any pieces because they're all paralyzed (like in the endgame when you have very few), add a pawn to the board for Martin and then all pieces revive and can move again. If you're in check and can't block, capture, or move the king because your pieces are paralyzed, Martin wins. The goal is to just checkmate Martin.

Polygamous King: You have to get at least 3 queens before you can checkmate your opponent

Suggestion: Limited Range Chess Chess but your ranged pieces have a limited range of 2 and your knights cannot move. If you are checked so that the only move possible is to block with a ranged piece farther than 2 squares, you lose. P.S. If you want, you can remove the knight rule. Also, you can make it so that pawns cannot do their initial double step. The flexibility on the settings is in your hands!

Poison Chess: If u move a piece then it will get "poisoned" , the poisoned piece will die or be taken out of the board if it doesnt take a piece, if it gets a piece then it will not be poisoned or be safe but if it moves again then it will be poisoned. This applies to castling (rook and king will be poisoned tho u can also choose to not make the king be poisoned) and promoting (if a pawn is promoted then it will get poisoned and must kill a piece). If the king moves then it will also be poisoned meaning u lose the game if the king doesnt take a piece

Suggestions: Chess, but each piece is rebalanced. Pawns can beat one square back, bishops and the queen move only 3 squares, the knight hits 1 square diagonally, and rooks can move other pieces 1 square instead of the usual movement. Idea: Chess but every time you take a enemy piece is taken. The piece you took it with is immobilized for 2 moves. Ex: You take E5 with your Knight. They move to d3 attacking your Knight but you cant move the knight until the enemy plays one more move.

Suggestion: Martin's Fast Promotes You can use "set up position" feature to do this. You are playing normal but every time Martin takes one of your pieces, the piece what he took with transforms into the piece that he took. That doesn't work when he took the same or lower pointed piece with the piece what he took with.

The lazy squad: The knights move normal. All other pieces can only move one square at a time.

Chess challenge : You are only able to move one piece at the time : When you move a piece, you have to keep moving this piece until it is blocked or captured, then if it happens, you are able to move another piece (King move after check doesn't count and castle is considered a rook move.)

Suggestion: bishops rooks and queens have caps. For example at the start of each game you roll 3 numbers 1-8. Which ever each number lands on is the amount of spaces that piece can move, for example bishop move 5 square. That means that every bishop move has to be 5 squares. Rooks with 2 for example can only move 2 squares. And queen is different. You roll for diagonal and horizantal. So if you roll a 3 and a 5 then the queen only moves 3 spaces diagonal and 5 spaces horizontal every queen move. Castling is allowed and these rules don’t effect checkmate, for example is your ladder mate even if the queen can only take 1-2 squares. It’s still checkmate, you don’t have a disadvantage in that department. If you have any specific questions you can reply and ask me :)

Every other turn you must move a pawn. If you promote a pawn you have to move another pawn. If you run out of pawns or cannot move a pawn you lose.

at 24:10 you should of sacked your rook for the bishop because you could promote to a queen and that would of pinned the knight to the king so the knight couldn't have taken your other queen because the king would be in check. I was screaming that in my head lol

Also, if you promote, you need to promote to a knight (your kingdom needs some good guys with swords to protect poor from bandits).
